Take your time in learning, and write it out in sections in your own hand. I find it helps to sink in. Also make sure that you read the whole play so you understand the text. Good luck!
Probably a bit late but for me I split it into sections and reread each part, I then wrote that part on a post it note and looked away tried to remember it. After I remembered it I'd do the next part. When I got to the end of a paragraph I put it together and read the paragraph fully, after that I'd read it from the top up to where I'd got to so far. It took about an hour :)
