Thanks man! To be fair some of them are pretty lucky. The trick is to just eventually get an idea of where to place them, which I think just comes down to having experience. It's a bit of timing and leading the target. The distance to the target affects how much you need to lead (obviously), so the midair gets harder the further you are IMO. I still struggle a lot with long range midairs, like the ones you see on some of the highlight videos. Some of the easier and more useful midairs to practice I'd say are the ones for people coming up jump pads. If someone doesn't edge clip at the top, then there will be a brief moment where they come to a complete stop in the air above the pad, so you can just aim for that location. Additionally I also aim for the area just before they hit the edge, so that even if they edge clip you can still hit them. Like if I'm on nails on molten, my opponent grabs heavy and goes up jump pad to ssg, I can just aim for the top of the pad shaft, and I can usually get a good chance for a rocket rail combo like that.
