For example: when you're angry, any yelling, storming out, etc. should be avoided, and instead a calm and steady demeanor keeps you from giving him the sense that he can get a rise out of you. This strategy alone led me to come to the realization that my ex was being emotionally abusive. Instead of my normal tantrums over his comments that hurt my feelings (purposefully, I soon realized), I sat still, kept quiet, and said "I don't deserve that." He had a couple full blown shouting incidents before I had enough. It's an extreme example, but he showed himself as an insecure, low value man real quick.

My boyfriend is controlling the way you described, he tells me he wants to leave me everytime I tell him about a new trip I am planning and tries to make me feel guilty for the past trips I had to make as well as for attending many activities. Can you talk about (1) deciding to wait until marriage to have sex when you’ve already had sex and have a child; (2) dating a man who is obsessed with your child’s father who is NEVER around, doesn’t live in town, and sees child rarely - how to handle this insecurity/jealousy; (3) constantly asking/talking about exes and wants to know how many people you’ve been with - I feel it’s best not to answer this question and don’t want to know from him yet he pressured me to answer. How do I handle these situations. I’m sure other women are curious too
Not Greta either here, lol, but even if he is pushy, state a boundary about him asking you this stuff - "why are you asking? I don't want to talk about this," or "i don't like to discuss that stuff at this point in relationship, etc". If he keeps pushing you, call him out on it or let him simmer and leave. Why would you want to be around someone who continues to make you do stuff you dont want to? It won't get better in the future if he continues

I sometimes wonder if all this advice is useful and if he is that meek as we are considering him or he has a brain of his own and he can see that you love yourself first. I have seen a lot of males who take this as a biggest turn off and run away because they are looking for equality or equal treatment and wanted to be taken care because all other women do so, and male coaches tell them to get rid of women who doesnt care for them. So what I see is running guys n men from those girls who are in themselves and put themselves first.

Why would God be happy if you tell him that you tried to be a millionair for your leisure or want to go expolre different countries and travel while kids were kept at home with daddy or nanny if travelling or making money your goal?? Lol I guess some of us have a goal of marriage, kids and a home and when a guy has provided all that then what dreams to have and what to achieve? Keeping in my mind that a lot of cultures dont have a trend of working women and women only do the domestic duties. Then women of those cultures can have which dreams and do things for their growth? Shed light on this please
