Bihar Hosts Women’s Asian Hockey Championship 2024: A Historic Welcome for Teams from Across Asia

For the first time, Bihar is hosting women’s hockey players from countries including Japan, Thailand, Malaysia, China, South Korea, and India. The Women’s Asian Hockey Championship 2024 will begin on 11 November 2024 in the ancient, holy city of Rajgir, Bihar. The teams were warmly welcomed at Gaya International Airport by the Gaya District Administration, Buddhist monks, and other local dignitaries. All credit for this remarkable event goes to Shri Nitish Kumar, the Chief Minister of Bihar, and his government for their vision and support.
