It wouldnt be unreasonable to assume that they made that base just to roof camp. Although if they did it wouldnt make sense why they would make such an intricate base specifically for roofcamping. Im not saying they made it to roofcamp, but I geuss I can see why an admin might assume so.

We usually pay for whitelist on wipe day on most servers that offer it too so feel good knowing they directly lost money because of their shitty admins. Nothing is worse on a game than admin abuse. I've experienced it on ark and rust both plenty and tbh I hope server owners like that stub their toes when they get out of bed every morning.

This has happened to me and a group of ransoms that grouped up to raid somebody and we were all hitting our shots so hard that the admin came over and tried to raid our raid base and then tried to out auto turrets in front of it so we walked the turrets off. End of story... We raised the base while the admin was going invisible trying to kill us and then we all got banned for "hacking"

a few weeks ago i tripled a dude from 50m and i guess he was an admins friend because i immediately got banned for "script check, join the discord and join the channel" or some shit like that. kinn and some other fuck were in there and when i showed them my task manager, my files, alt tabbed about a thousand times and showed them my spray they said "hmm i think you turned your scripts off" and then told me i wasnt getting unbanned and that I wasn't going to be unbanned and the rest of my quad got banned for association lmfao. fun fact this is also the server where we had a hacker with an eoka fly on top of our base and proceed to rock my shit from 10m with said eoka then take my mp5 and melt the rest of my group. just stay away from this server honestly. riddled with hackers and cry babies, not to mention kinn who "script checks" anyone his friends get shit on by and then bans them even when they show solid proof they arent scripting.

Thank you for highlighting issues like this, i think its disgusting how salty Affinity are in their response. They should take responsibility for their shitty decisions, and try and fix their already terrible reputation. Instead they dig themselves into a deeper hole. Myself and the rust communities i am part of will be avoiding Affinity, and would advise others to do the same.

Reason i quit playing rusty servers is that you can cheat on the server, and when you get banned for it, all you need to do is upgrade your vip and you'll get unbanned.

Me and my clan considered playing this server next wipe, thanks for the heads up about the admin abuse! I had an admin do similar shit to my clan on a different server a couple years ago. We played it for 6 months and topped the 'kill leaderboard' plugin every wipe. They eventually got a few other of the big clans to try to raid us at the same time, and they failed. The admins would try to raid us too, picking themselves up and teleporting themselves and other clans to the fight. We ended up winning still, and my entire clan was banned for "cheating". They went back a year later and actually changed the ban reason to "being toxic in voice chat" which isn't true because we pretty much never used voice chat. There's nothing more disgusting than Rust admins power tripping
I have experienced admin abuse as well, Some friends of the owner were clearly aimboting (like shotting through walls) and been tped back were they died (literally i kill a guy and just appears out of thin air and picks his stuff) , its the freaking worst, the owner denied knowing them and that he was on (he was) but in his discord is was FULL of screnshots of them in a team and raiding and stuff, me and my friends just quit the server after that, the worst part is that was one of the best rust wip we ever had, we were Full Metal AK in just like 5 hours into the wipe, it was crazy.

Like checking what bases have all the boom and only looting those first, perfect raiding bases etc.. The truth is admins can't handle the power they always become corrupted.. I've seen some INSANELY dirty things admins try to do covertly too, one time an admin deleted our bucket lift from a cave base because we were destroying their entire server in PVP and we had a 50 rocket minimum cave base with little to no effort.
@Tunahh no im just a normal player and dont even play on the server but i looked into it and there is a rule to where you can't shoot people on their base from your base and apparently they lost fights to this group so then hemptheif started bolting at them on their base from his base because he was pissed off and it was against the rules so the clan made a ticket that they were breaking the rules and the clan wasn't friends with the admin in anyway and you can make tickets about breaking the rules for hemptheif lied twice in the video and there was a 25ish minute talk with the other clan and the admins but hemptheifs team just earraped in voicechat instead of talking and kept roof camping so their base got destroyed.

I will be sure to let my twitch community aware of this server as well. Update: -Admins of that server if you are reading this, I suggest you put some more hours into rust and learn how toxic the community is, asides from hacking Rust is and has always been a cutthroat game, so this is a clear abuse of powers. If you want to run a PC/RP Friendly server, I suggest you change your servers to PVE. _Hopefully this video has taught you a valuable lesson. _Feel free to use your own money to keep the upkeep of this server running, because I think you will need it soon....

Something similar has happened to me as well on a server which I won't name (It starts on the beach 3x server). My teammate was raiding someone while I was afk, he closed off the base to secure the loot for transfer and the guy that guy raided cried to the owner that my teammate took over his base (keep in mind griefing wasn't allowed). The owner then proceeds to kick my teammate, then tells him in chat to make a ticket on discord, all this while he wasn't even in the game. When he finally got back, he banned him because he disobeyed him and took too long to make a ticket. I make a ticket to see what happened and apparently, the guy that my teammate was raiding was a friend of the owner. I called him out on discord then banned me as well. Owner Rise, if you ever see this, eat a bag of rotten tomatoes.

We end up leaving but long story short they ban us for a minute and loot our bodies then let us back. We just ended up giving away our compound at that point.

I feel like this should be an IP bannable offense for Rust in general, personally. They are effectively cheating to ruin other people's enjoyment. Cheaters get banned, why can't admins of toxic servers? They literally delete someone's personal time because they feel like it.
I was a call with some of Hemp Thief's teammates about a week ago with KiNN and he did admit to that his staff is toxic to have the same mentality as the players and called this beefy base a roofcamp tower, they did say they would put in some steps but the entire time KiNN was being toxic. Also, doesn't help that KiNN dox'ed some 30 year old publicly shaming him (his defense was he is old while there is like a small age difference between them two) and has made threats and leaked IP's because every player that joins their server has their IP sent to the database. Overall don't play on the affinity servers, their treatment of this situation and in general of everything is shitty.

I swear community servers are a blessing and a curse in survival games. Like you can follow the rules and have a server admin ban you because they’re salty. I play a lot of Dayz and had to stop recently because an admin on the server banned me and my crew after we wiped a base (which wasn’t against the rules). However, they tried to say in defense of it that we were raiding during non raiding hours. Unfortunately for those guys we ended up running into one of the admins before we raided and told them what we were up to and they had confirmed that we were raiding during raiding hours. Thank God I saved the clip. I had a weird feeling. People just have chips on their shoulders man. Like how can you have fun on a server where you can’t kill an admins friend, but they can kill you and it’s fine.

When I owned my own server it was vanilla and the only admin thing I would do was remove placements at the request of people that own them, instead of them spending hours to knock a wall they misplaced down. Server was Rusty Playground.

I had an admin do similar shit to my clan on a different server a couple years ago. We played it for 6 months and topped the 'kill leaderboard' plugin every wipe. They eventually got a few other of the big clans to try to raid us at the same time, and they failed. The admins would try to raid us too, picking themselves up and teleporting themselves and other clans to the fight. We ended up winning still, and my entire clan was banned for "cheating". They went back a year later and actually changed the ban reason to "being toxic in voice chat" which isn't true because we pretty much never used voice chat.

I have experienced admin abuse as well, Some friends of the owner were clearly aimboting (like shotting through walls) and been tped back were they died (literally i kill a guy and just appears out of thin air and picks his stuff) , its the freaking worst, the owner denied knowing them and that he was on (he was) but in his discord is was FULL of screnshots of them in a team and raiding and stuff, me and my friends just quit the server after that, the worst part is that was one of the best rust wip we ever had, we were Full Metal AK in just like 5 hours into the wipe, it was crazy.

HA at least you knew the Admin was abusing. Half the servers I've ever been in the Admin group is always doing bs like this and even worse... Like checking what bases have all the boom and only looting those first, perfect raiding bases etc.. The truth is admins can't handle the power they always become corrupted.. I've seen some INSANELY dirty things admins try to do covertly too, one time an admin deleted our bucket lift from a cave base because we were destroying their entire server in PVP and we had a 50 rocket minimum cave base with little to no effort.

@Tunahh no im just a normal player and dont even play on the server but i looked into it and there is a rule to where you can't shoot people on their base from your base and apparently they lost fights to this group so then hemptheif started bolting at them on their base from his base because he was pissed off and it was against the rules so the clan made a ticket that they were breaking the rules and the clan wasn't friends with the admin in anyway and you can make tickets about breaking the rules for hemptheif lied twice in the video and there was a 25ish minute talk with the other clan and the admins but hemptheifs team just earraped in voicechat instead of talking and kept roof camping so their base got destroyed.
Apparently one of the admins friends is a toggle hacker too lmao.
I mean i would like to see a part two where the admin gets stripped of his role lol. What a shitty job.

-Admins of that server if you are reading this, I suggest you put some more hours into rust and learn how toxic the community is, asides from hacking Rust is and has always been a cutthroat game, so this is a clear abuse of powers. If you want to run a PC/RP Friendly server, I suggest you change your servers to PVE.

Something similar has happened to me as well on a server which I won't name (It starts on the beach 3x server). My teammate was raiding someone while I was afk, he closed off the base to secure the loot for transfer and the guy that guy raided cried to the owner that my teammate took over his base (keep in mind griefing wasn't allowed). The owner then proceeds to kick my teammate, then tells him in chat to make a ticket on discord, all this while he wasn't even in the game. When he finally got back, he banned him because he disobeyed him and took too long to make a ticket. I make a ticket to see what happened and apparently, the guy that my teammate was raiding was a friend of the owner. I called him out on discord then banned me as well. Owner Rise, if you ever see this, eat a bag of rotten tomatoes.

ah yes, I know all too well of admin abuse. Me and the boys were going to flame raid a base and admin joined in saying it was his little brother's base. We end up leaving but long story short they ban us for a minute and loot our bodies then let us back. We just ended up giving away our compound at that point.
Depends on how old the little brother is. I mean if it's just some 5 year old and they haven't messed with you at all the I'm for the admin. Although looting you is a bit much should have just sent you back to base.

I was a call with some of Hemp Thief's teammates about a week ago with KiNN and he did admit to that his staff is toxic to have the same mentality as the players and called this beefy base a roofcamp tower, they did say they would put in some steps but the entire time KiNN was being toxic. Also, doesn't help that KiNN dox'ed some 30 year old publicly shaming him (his defense was he is old while there is like a small age difference between them two) and has made threats and leaked IP's because every player that joins their server has their IP sent to the database. Overall don't play on the affinity servers, their treatment of this situation and in general of everything is shitty.

Making a tower just to roofcamp is a problem for the server ofc. The owner was upset himself that something this crazy happened. And this admin should have asked some other admins what to do in that situation since he has relations to the people in the situation. I run a league, and we can not do anything when it comes to deciding forfeits for our teams. We address other admins so there is no bias. The admin obviously assumed the worst, didn't listen to them, you saw the grubs running to attack clearly. Hemp thief even has video evidence.

I swear community servers are a blessing and a curse in survival games. Like you can follow the rules and have a server admin ban you because they’re salty. I play a lot of Dayz and had to stop recently because an admin on the server banned me and my crew after we wiped a base (which wasn’t against the rules). However, they tried to say in defense of it that we were raiding during non raiding hours. Unfortunately for those guys we ended up running into one of the admins before we raided and told them what we were up to and they had confirmed that we were raiding during raiding hours. Thank God I saved the clip. I had a weird feeling. People just have chips on their shoulders man. Like how can you have fun on a server where you can’t kill an admins friend, but they can kill you and it’s fine.
All the people saying leak the server. it was just the admin not the owner and he even said the owner was disappointed so most likely he has already been taken off of being an admin. leaking the server would just hurt the owner, not the admin that's prob not even there anymore. also if I'm wrong about all this then please actually do leak the server that's so dumb.

When I owned my own server it was vanilla and the only admin thing I would do was remove placements at the request of people that own them, instead of them spending hours to knock a wall they misplaced down. Server was Rusty Playground.
