    I also had a challenge where you had parked and disembarked from the Rosa, near the bridge, thought my car wont climb that steep, it did.

    I had no idea you would have to enter Congo on your trip. I promise not to complain about roads in Zambia after seeing the Congo ones.

      Well, Congo had been in civil war for a long time, so we did have an advantage.
      Also, the Pedicle us somehow Zambias responsibility since we are the ones who need it and use it mostly.

      @@theKhumbaguy interesting, I remember walking into what was then Zaire when I went to school in the North West. I suspect I was breaking some sort of international rules with no papers

      Zambia is actually responsible for the road repairs even now, since it is us who use that road.

    We once accidentally crossed the DRC border from chililabombwe, my father said oops!! And turned back, we didn't wish to be eaten!!!!!🥺😫

      Not kidding a couple of missionaries had had their house burned down the previous month and had been beaten by cannibals, honest truth!!!!

      @@nolavout9094 not all part of DRC Congo is bad. I am Zambian but we have family in Congo. Also lots of Zambians live within the Congo border. The bad side of Congo is the border within Rwanda and Uganda that's where all the problems are happening.

      It's fairly safe nowadays.
      Crossing through Congo is very straight forward for every Zambian.

      Not sure about non Zambians. Information is not easily available.
      We once Had to go all the way around through Kapiri when I travelled with a foreigner coz we weren't sure what the procedure is.
