Stop worrying about brushes. Yoshitomi proves it's about skill--not brushes. In fact, if you're learning digital painting, stick with the round brush and maybe a chalk brush. That's all you need.
This video convinced me to buy a new iPad just so I can use Procreate! I currently use a regular drawing tablet with my laptop and my iPad is from 2011 that barely still works. I prefer the feel of traditional drawing, but the convenience of digital drawing, and it seems like Procreate offers the perfect combo of that.

Yes. There’s no Procreate though, but there are other very good Art apps there too. I would recommend Ibis Paint, ArtFlow, MediBang, Infinity Painter all of them are just good as Procreate. For real Pro Clip Studio Paint. Krita has free Beta version.

I use the marker brush and all its fine actually. I am not pro tho

There are rough screen protectors that mimic the feel and friction of paper. Look for "Paperlike screen protector".
