  • Russell came to visit us to get his 3 years of hamstring tendonitis fixed at Barefoot Rehab in Denville, NJ, from Virginia.
    Except his diagnosis wasn't hamstring tendonitis. It was hamstring TENDINOSIS. All of the stretching he's been doing hasn't helped him or make him any more flexible.
    We diagnosed him with adhesion around his medial hamstring tendons, in the hamstring muscles, in the knee capsule, and between his sciatic nerve and hip external rotators. We used Manual Adhesion Release to treat the muscles and Instrument Adhesion Release to regenerate the hamstring tendons.
    After 3 treatments, he went home to Virginia and went hiking. He had a 25% increase in his ability to do work with less pain.
    If you're looking for help with your hamstring tendonitis or hamstring tendinosis, call us at Barefoot Rehab, your expert chiropractor in Denville, NJ, to see if you qualify for the PERMANENT pain relief we offer our patietns.

    This is exactly my case. But i’m 4 month into pes ansirines pain due to hamstring tightness due to high running volume on indoor track (lots of turns). I stopped stretching immediately after i started to feel pain. I massage hamstring every other day + i scrape tendon itself. I do lots of exercise and most of them are in eccentric way

    Hello, I been having inner knee pain for the last 2 years. I have distal semitendinosis tendon pain. Pes anserine bursitis and pain in the inner knee. I go to physical therapy twice a week and I have been doing this for a long time. Can we set up an online meeting. I am in Louisiana?

    what can cause pain at the tib/fib joint on the outside of the knee? Biceps femoris tendonitis? It doesn't seem like it would be IT band because isn't that higher up? What exercise would someone do if they wanted to treat this pain? Thanks

    • @drchrisstepien
      @drchrisstepien  8 месяцев назад

      It could be IT Band or common peroneal nerve entrapment or anteiror shin muscles or knee joint referral. Exercise implies "weakness". it's not possible to give an "exercise prescription becauses we don't know what tissue is damaged.

    • @Lantheus
      @Lantheus 8 месяцев назад

      Thanks for the reply. Isn’t the IT band higher up where pain happens over the lateral epicondyle? Or can there still be pain lower at the tib/fib joint?

    Hi. My medial,distal hamstring tendon (some of them) is sublaxing when i extend my knee. I thougt it was tendinosis. Do u think it could be?

    • @drchrisstepien
      @drchrisstepien  3 года назад +1

      A degenerated tendon would NOT do this alone. There must be some other piece to it. Could be that the hamstrings have a higher tension on them overall (for some reason, which we'd need to do an exam to figure out).

      @@drchrisstepien ok. Thx guys.
      Im pretty sure i have a combo problem here. Im a former soccer player. This leg was my "prime fot/leg wich i kicked the ball whit. I have had an bonespur surgical removed in my ankle on same side ( big bone spur in center of colum talis) wich made me conpensate my natural biomechanics due to poor dorsiflexion (unconsiccousley) for 10 years. Im sliglty bowleged now whit some extra bowing in this sick leg. The bowing is the way that the fibula is in a way cawing in (my leg is more loking like a "twisted screw" were titbia is bowing) . So my glute med is prob stretched out to much and week. I have worked on releaseing/stretching peroneals, tibials anterior, quads, psoas, loweback. Wich all are super tender and tight. I have problems all way up to neck and also elbow and fingers on same side.
      Thx for your time, it helps
      Best regards from sweden
