I think that, for fights between characters of equivalent power class, there has to be some kind of modifier to remove or at least dampen invincibility, or else it leads to the prolonged ridiculousness of two characters breaking the world around them while completely ignoring each other's attacks.

That was kinda painful to watch with all the seemingly random super spamming and no damage being done, but I'm just glad that it at least didn't go to a 5th round this time. Also refreshing that Goku actually lost to someone that isn't also from DBZ haha.

It took a fifth dimensional being called Mixxy in DC to know of and access a chamber where other fifth dimensional beings were resting. Even the destruction of multiple universes with Zeno Sama does not quite reach this level. Mixxy was able to destabilize reality breaking it completely. The building blocks of reality were basically being melted down so they could be reforged. Much like how a Blacksmith heats up metal or breaks it down into liquid to be reforged. The World Forger, The Anti-Monitor, and Mixxy are all fifth dimensional beings.
If you were to relate to real life politics, then it should be accurate to World War II, if related by the original locations of where they would receive the copyrights.
