She’s from Spain (Europe) not Latin America and she’s basically huge everywhere lmao I don’t know how u guys did not heard of her before, she’s actually a flamenco singer a traditional genre from Spain, react to “De Plata- Directo Sevilla” another AMAZING performance she sings flamenco there

@@theplayroomstudio7732 I wouldn’t be overly concerned with the previous comment. She isn’t well known in the U.K. But is reasonably well known in mainland Europe and gaining traction in the U.S. So no major blind spots to worry about!
@@_FsEk all my friends from the U.K. don’t know her, I only found out about her due to listening to Spanish radio I lived there for 14 months and now I’m back in the U.K. that’s the only radio station I listen to, through my app it’s called los40 the music they play is mainly from Spain and South America I love it best musica ever 👏👏💃💃
@@claireclarke9891 Hi Claire. I grew up close to where Rosalia is from. I moved to the U.K. at the turn of the century. Los 40 was my “top of the pops” growing up. I bemuse my workmates with Rosalia songs. They’d never heard of her. They certainly know who she is now. We’re slowly spreading the gospel but we’ve got our work cut out!
@@_FsEk ja ja ja that’s so funny I’m the Same with my family when they are in my car they have to listen to anything Spanish reggaeton, flamenco, merengue everything I love it it’s different from U.K. boring musica. I lived in Murcia los alcazares we have family out there I love the place we stay there for a couple of months at a time. They speak slang Spanish like me I’m from yorkshire and speak with a yorkshire accent but I love my routes but love Murcia lovely people and mostly Spanish 👏👏

In fact is a song from a film from the 70's called "Deprisa, deprisa".
That's the reson to sing this song in a gala of the Goya's, the Spanish movie awards.
A peculiar genre of "gipsy-sxplotation" of that decade with many films telling the stories of gangs of young delinquents, teenagers from gypsy ethnic groups or from deprived neighborhoods.
