This is my grail watch. The way you hd it sliding all over the watch cushion at the start gave me serious anxiety. What a watch though. Had it on my wrist a couple times but doubt i will ever be offered it

Your great grandfather is still on the waiting list. It's an overpriced piece of metal....it tells the same time from a £30 watch, £200 watch, £2000 watch to a £500k watch. It's also not as comfortable to wear as they boast about. All you need is a decent automatic watch.....with/without calander/stopwatch blah blah. Status of brands only hold the value of the way it's marketed. I could create the same looking watch made by Seiko or Casio and market it in such a way, with a price tag so stupid, put it through an 18 month waiting list, and make it only available to a certain list of people, because I would only make 10 pieces with individual "unique serial numbers" and bam! In 10 years time the watches would become rare and I could re market them for triple the amount.
