Some may ask, why Jiří has nickname "Denisa", a girls name... well, in the middle of training session, coach called out for a lady by the name Denisa... and Jiří answered for some reason... and it stuck with him... ;)

Savage ending of round 1. Jiri delivered the coup de grâce.
I can understand wanting to protect fighters from harm when they are lagging and on the ropes, but there were only 3 seconds left and if the break between rounds didn't give him time to recover, then the ref could always stop when/if it looks bad in the second/last round. I think he could have stood another 3 seconds. Either way, the fight was a really good one and cheers to both fighters. Oh, and cheers to the ref too, he's good a tough job trying to keep fighter alive and make sure all is clean and above board.

Really stupid stoppage. He was dazed, but his feet were under him & he was evading. Even with :20 on the clock it woulda been a questionable stoppage, but with :03???

Swede was the better fighter, better standing up, better take downs and better ground and pound (well Jiri never got to do any G&P so maybe not a fair statement). But Jiri literally smelled blood and sized the opportunity and won fairly. I wonder what caused the swede to bleed? Did they collide and head butted each other in the last take down? Karl was awful standing. He was awkward and therefore tricky to read but it would have been just a matter of time before he would be caught. Look at his leg work. Dangerous bad habits.
