I think one of the things i most appreciate on your videos are the relationships you've developed with other collectors and dealers and artists. Just being able to talk with them about the love you have for the various artists and art work. Keep it up.
Everything Angelo says “so sick!” to is stuff I’m not into. But there’s all kinds of stuff you’ll catch in the background that I do love. I would’ve been all over that electric mag and spidey statues
I heard Tom say, "Web of Horror" and was gutted you didn't dig it up. It's a great magazine and had a run of only 3 issues. In April this year, a hardcover compilation was put out with a lot of extras like interviews with writers, artists, etc... They even managed to get issue 4 which was unpublished. Great book to pick up if you like horror mags from that era.
Hope you guys are staying safe... Still wandering about The guy that sales key comics on time..I wish to get my husband a book that hes wanted for a long time... He's a combat disabled vet with PTSD the books seem to help.... Sincerely Kelly
@@PoloNom I just hope your all safe. Hopefully tomorrow things are OK for the event they are having, I was imaging the water rising and everyone needing to move all the boxes of books. Hope your OK where you are.
I have seen a lot of the video and if your collecting the Wonder Women comics or Vampirella mags I believe your cell phone has a Note pad on it try keeping a list of the comics your looking for and what grade they are in as you collect.
I need some help. I have been a long time reader and not really a collector. I have just started trying to "collect" my favorite run, Uncanny X-Men Vol1 1-544. I have noticed that people who are serious about collecting have started avoiding slabs. I was curious what is going on and if I should try and buy raw as I can. For example, I have Iron Fist 14, first sabertooth, in a CGC 4.5. Should I crack it so I can enjoy reading it, or leave it as slabbed? It seams like if it's not a 9.8 - no one wants it. Thoughts?
Just collect what you like in what form you like! If you like slabs get some slabs. If you like raws get raws. If you like a healthy mix of both then get both! No one way of collecting it right. Just do it the way you like it!
Don't you all think this is cringe? Going to a place where everyone knows what everything is worth.then trying to underbuy so you can sell for more . Then posting you wife for sick nerd views. Hobby was fun. I have a huge comic book collection worth we'll over 20k from yard sales and flea markets. Y'all ruined it
Man, you guys know some of the coolest, realest people in the hobby. Tom it seems tom is an awesome dude.
Tom-
If Angelo is too young to know The Electric Company, he is too young to look at Cherry Poptart.
