*mother of Imam al shafi. Imam shafi was the famous scholar and one of the founders of 4 schools of fiqh (law) and he contributed in science fiqh which is "usul al-fiqh" . his mom named fatimah bint obaidillah azadiyah (from gaza). Imam al shafi's dad young right after around imam shafi born. his mother saw imam shafi's potential so she devoted her life to make sure him educated well by moved out from gaza to mekkah(because a lot of scholars learn in mekkah). they were very poor, she can't even buy imam shafi a book and asked him to just memorize it all. Alhamdulillah, Imam shafi has a strong memory ability Allah gave him so he used that. his mom convinced him that he has to keep studying and help anyone who needs with his ability and because of that, he recognized by the school and school gave him a scholarship. Imam malik was one of his teacher, he even said that Allah gave imam shafi's heart a light . his mother is very worship to Allah she also educated that she helped in the judge and did advise about how mnany judges based Surah in Quran
A young Imam Shafii said "They don't take me seriously, because I am not a paid student." Allahhu Akbar, 1200 years all it takes is "Imam Shafii said that" and no on dares to bring up any further objections.
