+F Dannn The video doesn't quite pick it up, but that reverser lattice is fully carbon fibre and it is absolutely stunning up close. 787 makes long haul so enjoyable!
Because it is. They are slowing down, at one point the speed brakes pop up on the wings. They are required to slow down to 250kts below 10,000ft, then make their approach at around 170-180kts
Not really... I ask the pilot to see the cockpit and he let me in. But the thing is we not allow to go cockpit anyway. But there are nice people and let them in :)
AirlineChannelVideo they always let people into the cockpit weever i ask they let me in and other people ask they let them in and all airlines let people in
After landing I guess it's okay if the pilot says so. During flight - no way. Those days are gone forever. Too bad. I remember being allowed to sit in the jump seat while an Air Canada flight from Boston landed at Pearson.
about $5000 a person in June but we bought 6 tickets for my family, it would cost about $25,000. Now is about $3000 to $6000 a person. Sometime the price can go higher.
Toronto was a nice place once upon a time. Now too much crime, drugs etc. Once it had a NICE ethnic mix, Italians, Greeks, and other Europeans that was when Toronto was a nice city.
Amazing how the engines are so quite normally yet the reversers in comparison are so loud
That bed looks comfy!
I had a flight on the LOT 787 business class to Warsaw, one of the best flights ever, and I have been on thousands of flights.
"have you ever been in a rolls Royce?"

Pardon my ignorance in aviation & jet engines but why does the engine fan seem to be changing speed @ 1:41?
Because it is. They are slowing down, at one point the speed brakes pop up on the wings. They are required to slow down to 250kts below 10,000ft, then make their approach at around 170-180kts

Is LOT just completely open to people entering and viewing their cockpit?
Not really... I ask the pilot to see the cockpit and he let me in. But the thing is we not allow to go cockpit anyway. But there are nice people and let them in :)

how much the ticket cost?
about $5000 a person in June but we bought 6 tickets for my family, it would cost about $25,000. Now is about $3000 to $6000 a person. Sometime the price can go higher.
OMG! xD
***** well they'd charge more for a better flight since it's on the dreamliner, so I guess that makes even higher profits
