I just want you to know that your ability to craft plotlines that span years, maintain consistency between characters, and link them with current events, all while keeping it entertaining is unrivaled outside of maybe South Park. Seriously, you need to be famous.
Hard agree, this guy's writing talent is so good. Sure, some AI Presidents stuff is kinda funny but it follows tropes in a way that lacks subtlety or creativity. Trump's "hawk tua" joke right after the eagle screech comment, the constant feeling that the romance rivalry plot isn't dead, Barack being a fair middleman to both presidents and the game, and the fact that Joe isn't fully Paragon in his takes nor is Trump fully Renegade in his takes. This series is so well written, and the commentary on top of a well-written series is just so golden. TV wishes it was this fucking good today.

As we have reached the final game I just wanted to thank you for getting me into the Mass Effect trilogy. They were all great games and I probably wouldn't have ever gotten around to playing them without this channel. Glad I was able to finish it all before you got to Mass Effect 3.

I’m all for Donald adding turmoil to the set by romancing Liara. She has the most well written romance in ME3 in my opinion and is a phenomenal character that is bland if you don’t romance her. Tali is good regardless of that in ME3 because of the Rannoch story arc. Donald ftw lol.
As Noah Caldwell Gervais so correctly observed, the middle dialogue option has a lot of utility just by its presence. It allowed you to play a Paragon who didn’t let people walk all over him, or a Renegade who was more pragmatic than recklessly violent.
The middle dialogue option actually has a lot of very interesting lines and different angles. I prefer most of the middle responses, Shepard seems smarter and more practical, less emotional.
Same! I choose a lot of middle options for these exact reasons. S/he is an experienced soldier and a leader, should act like one too. Paragon sometimes feels naive or stupid, Renegade sometimes feels reckless or moronic. Not traits of a good Commander.

28:00 something that bothers me about Vega getting an N7 recommendation is that you dint just become an N7. You start at N1 and make your way through the number codes with missions served and experience. Vega goes from just being an officer to being considered one of the best special operatives the Alliance has to offer on par with Shepard
@primeradiancy I suppose that makes sense. Even the tattoo he gets also fits with that since it's absolutely in character for him to just think he'll blow through training and go all the way to N7
In regards to Grunt not being indoctrinated-it makes sense to me. Shiala mentions to Shepard in a message how she and the other colonists are experiencing lingering effects of Thorian control but that actually makes them immune to indoctrination. Maybe Okeers’s failed attempts at implanting tank conditioning in Grunt through images and messages did the same thing.
Proud to say that I'm in the 2.7% of the One and Only achievement on Insanity no less. On both my Sentinel and Soldier. I think Joe will surprise us all like the collector ship and have a deathless Grissom Academy run.
