Hi! I just wanted to thank you for the info. I do take notes but to get all of the directions I have to stop the video to write down every direction given. I love your videos, especially when you give the tools best to use and the clear and concise directions. Thank you for your work. It makes better jewelers of all of us, even pros can find tips here. Bravo to Beadaholique!!!

Great! suggestion, a permeant marker, for those who struggle with "eyeball it", measure and mark and, also use the marker to mark the spot on the round nose pliers to match the loops. Wipe the pliers with alcohol, dry, mark the placement of the first loop and let it dry for few seconds. The mark will come off with alcohol or wear... it's a great way to get more consistent loops when making loops for beads too. Can you show how to flatten the loops a bit and not have them look sloppy? I've seen clasps with some flattened areas I love but my attempts to do that, don't look professional. Thank you

I can add your suggestion of showing how to flatten the wire to our ideas list! Thank you for the idea. My best advice is to use a chasing hammer for the flattening, one that is made for jewelry design. It's head is nice and smooth and makes clean impressions.

If you do this a lot, try marking your round nose pliers with a sharpie to make sure you start at the same point of the taper every time

@Peggy Powers - These types of tutorials are created in video form because it is much easier to demonstrate the process visually. We do not have a written tutorial because we felt it would be hard to follow, and so made the video. You may find it helpful to take notes so that you do not need to stop and start the video if that bothers you.

@Peggy Powers - Julie shows the small and medium in the video. These would be used in place of the round nose pliers. Which size exactly you would need would depend on how large your are making your clasp. You could also use the medium or large size (again, depending on the desired size of your clasp) instead of the pen.

nice tutorial but I would have liked to see it incorporate it into a necklace. I can't see how you would attach it. thank you!

Me again! I'm trying to find written directions using the Wubbers pliers and no-go. Is there a place or do I have to write everything down that is said - stop and start, stop and start. The problem is I still don't know where to use which plier.
