Nice work there. Very detailed description of how the micro jig works and how one might choose which side to deploy when making cuts. Particularly liked seeing how you made the inserts and the manner in which you got around the high blade by using the 8" blade to begin the cut. Thanks!

Great video, thanks for sharing. I am going to be doing a project with my son (14 y/o) that requires some thin cuts on small stock and the zero clearance insert will be needed to keep the pieces stable on the table throughout the cut. There are so many items in the shop (like table saw inserts, racks, jigs, etc.) that can be purchased relatively cheaply but it's always more fun and rewarding to make them.
