Tubes are actually not the best thing to give your syrian hamster, believe it or not. They are happiest with wide cages, and lots of space to run with just a couple of tubes.
you can also try to cut out the bottom of a tin can with a can opener (the top should already be open because you'd use it already, and if the inside is empty cut out the bottom part) and wash it with soap and water, and then peel of the paper from the can and put it in the cage :)
I had one tube running all way to the floor connecting to a areana area where its open space but all fenced up and if they want go back to cage its long climb up the tube.
I did same thing i had 3 cages connected to each other for two hammies and bunch tubes going everywhere in my room and one thing i notice they do.....they always bring food to them in wierdest sections of the tube lol. When i clean the tubes nothing but seeds and stuff comming out.
I had hamsters my whole life so every hamster I owed I bought a habitrail cage but I also had all of them connected to all of them leading to a HUGE bin cage but all the habitrail cages were connected with other room and look outs
My hamster died 2 hours ago an it dident rech 24 hours in the cage and i just got her today it died because my dad put the hamster in the liveng room and the window was open and my cat got in to the cage and killd the hamster:-( :-(

David Mitchell-Dawson btw, the bigger the better, the smaller the bigger. the small/tiny hamsters have a lot of energy, so a big cage is gonna make 'em happy
TheToob999 they remember after a day of that cage, and a hamster can live up to 5-7years if you didm' know that some live that long, some only 2 years, some less than 1 cuz of sickness
Kamaji My mom had 2 hamsters and one of them died at five years old and the other one at 7! Not every world record is put in books because there wasn't really a way to show it back when my mom had those hamsters
its really not i've had a brand new abandoned hamster for 2 days and its not that bad all you have to do is grab some kind of hey and put it in (not daily mabey a week or so) then feeed them put there plate there make them eat (change 2 days) then clean water (daily!) and your done!
wow how amazing and cute if I had more money I'd do this for my hamster that is so cool and neat I bet hamsters would never be bored exploring

Some of those cages may look cool but they are too small for a hamster and the tubes oh the tubes. They just tire the hamster out

After some research I understand that the critter trail isn't recommended but if connected around 3 to 4 is that a decent size
