i think it might just be the timing, you can't mash it, you just need to do it as soon as dante lands, and another tip would be delaying the second j.H ever so slightly, keeping dante closer to the enemy
like drones or rapid slash for sky dance resets or the hard knockdown, but those things I mentioned should be shown for a solo video as they are necessary to grinding out all you can from solo Dante play. I also forgot to mention double volcano combos after stinger, look up Ray Ray's video on double volcanoes. There's a lot of tools Dante has, and they're there for a reason, so why not use them?

You know what I like to do with Dante? When ever I have 5 bars and I punish someone with Dante's level 3. I love linking the combo, you dash after the animation is over and do cold shower, and then build enough meter to do another level 3. I've gotten many rage quits from that. It's just one of those things you have to practice. Dante can even do a level 1 after a full combo level 3 if you can dash right after the level 3 ends.
If you're talking about 3:27 it's because it doesn't work on all characters and you're probably doing it too slow. Just omit the first H of HSH just launch when you land. This is an example. /watch?v=-k336gTMS_o
i have problem with bold cancel i can cancel any move but after that i cannot do anything neither dragon bunch nor teleport i think i got problem on timing. whenever i cancel dante do auto jump so there is no time to do anything afterword. any chance someone could help with this?
So recently, I figured that you can actually plink the bold move. So assuming you want to do 22 LS+S, instead you could do 22L~S I don't know if you knew it already or no, but as a shitty player, I found bold cancelling like that MUCH MUCH easier.

Deshawn Johnson you can use the number pad on your keyboard (the square of 9 numbers ,123 on the bottom, 789 on the top.) 2 would be down, 8 would be up, the input for teleport would be down down X( or 22S) when you do prop shredder, you can super jump afterwards, so you're canceling prop shredder into a super jump then cancel the super jump into teleport.
i'm never right when it comes to the titles lol, i get people, like you saying it's no where near difficult, and then i get the beginners saying it's impossible, so i thought complex was an okay term to describe these to the majority of people, people who are new and those who just havent gotten around to using the red coated white boy
Dante is made to choose between meter or more damaging combos, if this is going to be a solo combo video he should show double acid rain loops as they give him much more meter for what he may do on his own. Gun shot loops are pretty good anywhere and can squeeze in more damage without taking up a ton of hitstun. Volcano J.S is good since it doesn't deteriorate hitstun and can add more things later in the combo for more damage. Quit bashing, Dante does use about 2 bars for more damage an a assist

Don't worry bro me and a lot of others suck at bold canceling too i can only do in training mode not real match my fingers just not that cordinated without the hit being handed to me. But dante is too sick so we still gotta play the shit out of him anyway till we get it.
Forgive me, but I've been playing the game for a year and a half and I STILL can't get combos like these correct. I'm a pad player who uses the D-pad for precision. Do you know how hard it is to bold cancel on a pad? It's hard enough trying to pull this stuff off against the CPU, let alone a real player. To me, this isn't a "little" hard. But maybe I'm just ass. Who knows?
Well if you're going to use something that takes a certain execution level why not use optimized combos? Most optimized combos DO take high execution to pull off. Double acid rain loops, gun shot loops, beehive to hammer links, volcano to jump s links, things like that really grind out damage and meter with Dante.

Eh, sometimes I regret doing my fancy combo on people. I mean, I'm really good with Dante but sometimes you just have to pick your battles. Sometimes I have a perfect going and I drop one combo due to trying to style on them and I lose. I doesn't make me look good, it makes me look like an asshole who deserved what came to him. Most Dante players don't even know combos outside of J.S anyway, so any BC combo you do with him will make you look better than 90 percent of Dante players online.
Maybe it's just Dante and a few others in this game but Combos,cancels and counters look hard as fuck to pull off in UMVC3. I know I would get raped in 3 seconds online.
These aren't hard combos by any means. If someone can combo in a super in NUN's then they are doing harder links than Dante. The hardest part of Dante is Bold Cancelling and teleporting after stinger. At least that's what most people find hard. But given enough time it becomes easy. Dante is a great character because he's a "create a combo" character. You can link many things with him you'd never think otherwise.
Here's a combo I do with Dante, it's hard as fuck but I have landed it acouple of times. s.LMH f.H, BC, fdf.M j.H qcf.M H s.H fd.HH S qcf.LL M qcf.M fdf.MM, dash back, S HH, call Vergils assist, teleport, qcf.H qcf.LL fdf.M qcfu.H into super, then DHC into Vergil and do the Yipes combo. Masa made a video about it.
Double acid rain loops are horrible. They add so much hitstun it's not even worth doing. Gun shot loops on the other hand are only useful when you start a combo with a j.S. Volcano to S is very useless and unreliable.....let alone they do about the same damage.

It's extremely easy. I used to think it was hard until i actually learned how to do it. It looks 10x harder than it actually is.
Style... is the ONLY reason I lose as many battles as I do.

You have to make sure you add up to the input. Instead of QCF, it's QCFU. It's also called jump cancelling.
