2020 Great ON Yield Tour |

The 2020 Great ON Yield tour is in its fifth year and it was originally started to level the playing field for farmers across Ontario to provide them the insight on corn and soybean yields and production so they could make better production and marketing decisions into the future. The 2-week yield check tour historically runs from mid to late August where scouts travel across the province to collect over 400 samples of corn and soybeans and ends with two final wrap up events: one in Winchester at Jacquemet Farms and one at the Canada's Outdoor Farm Show site in Woodstock. Due to COVID-19, 2020 will be the tours' first ever VIRTUAL events on Sept. 2 and 3 from 10:00 a.m. 2:00 p.m. NEW to the tour in 2020 is a yield contest, prizes for registering and attending, great line up of educational demos and guest speakers with the release of the Ontario provincial soybean yield on day one (Sept. 2) and the corn yield on day two (Sept. 3).
