Did you even know that in the seventh century CE, Indonesia had a kingdom? Do you know of any historical accounts of a kingdom or monarch who governed the Nagas? Even the language - Nagamese is a fractured form of Assamese language.

If nationality and tribal ethnicity is only determined by language and medium of communication then india is also an illegitimate colonial country ruled and consolidated by the north indians. By saying this i mean to imply that all of india states have different languages and within the state there are ethnicity and group of people speaking different languages and within the ethnicity there are also different local dialects. Hindi as a means of communication for the most part of india was spread because of the subsequent empires that ruled the major part of the indian subcontinent.

Even Manipuri scripts were borrowed from Bengali too thats why you have new one meitei mayek. Even Mexico does not have language as they communicate with Spanish the majority. According to your logic, no one is Indian too as every community of India speaks and writes in different languages. Language is just for communcation. Atleast, we are proud for what we have more than 60 languages alongwith sub tribe languages of one particular community unlike Meiteis who has only one common language.
