Thanks for watching and I appreciate the feedback - I grew up coming out to Alberta Beach and I have a lot of love for the town. Great memories of meals with family at Mama's in the Kitchen too, you guys make great food! Cheers
I grew up in the area. My grandparents started farming west of the village in the '30's. Been a way for years, lots has changed, but the video showed lots of places I remember.
I appreciate it, thanks for watching - I've spent a lot of time at Alberta Beach over the years and thought it might be useful to do a little video. Cheers
I was 7 when I moved to A.B. the agriplex where half my life was spent ! Girl guides arm wrestling Rodeos sno-mo days and so much more! There used to be a mini golf and Giant trampolines across the street from the agriplex! Also when I was there it was a gravel road to Darawell ! The first store that was shown was the main grocery store and the second one was a confectionery take out fuel and boating stuff and fishing etc.. the laundry mat was the original gas station &mechanics etc They had old fuel pumps on display and a Classic store front There used to be ABpizza place there that was they had amazing food and always ate there lol . Ah good times Thanks for the video! It has changed so much since 1980
Thanks for sharing, seems like the town has changed quite a bit over the years! I grew up spending time at the lake and the area has huge sentimental value for me too. Cheers mate
Thanks for watching! I saw that story when I was researching notable deaths around the lake - that happened in December of 2004. Wild story! His partner Terry McHardy also died strangely by the lake in 2015.
Was out fishing with my cousin back in the eighty’s .Three guys had drowned a couple of weeks earlier. The authorities recovered two of the body’s fairly quickly but not the third . Anyways we were out on the lake and this boat with a guy about a couple of hundred metres away was shouting at us ,so we went over thinking he had engine trouble .He pointed to the water and said there is a body .We went into shore and called the cops .They lifted the body out with a big net .I guess it had decomposed and fLoated to the surface . From what I heard these guys were in the bar and got into there boat at night and we’re headed to Roos Haven but didn’t make it .
Thanks for this! It's been quite a few years since I've been out there and it's nice to see what's changed for my next visit!
Thanks for watching!
I currently live just outside of Alberta Beach and work at Mama’s in the kitchen! I’m so glad to see a video of Alberta Beach

I recall a fellow that was ice-kite-skiing. Wind-gust slammed him into a building. Odd death.

Can't wait to check out Alberta Beach. Never been there!
Nice little lake town, the Lac Ste Anne mission outside of town is very cool too
Is there an RV park in Alberta beach?
Yeah you bet - I believe it's open May-September. Cheers
Alberta slough
Yeah the water quality is a bit suspect
