Sweet! Nothing huge but all easy stuff to ship. I take rings and such to the mall jewelers. They are usually very friendly and can offer valuation advice, plus shine it up cheap (or often free!).
Not sure if you made $ but it was very kind of you to give the pictures back. I had to laugh because I have taken so many pictures and treasured them. Nice to see your dad again doll😂.
Thats not how the tester works. Depending on the room temperature and carrot of the stone you turn it up an6wheres to 2-6 bars. Really small diamonds would be 4-6 depending on the temperature but for most stones its 4 then tou touch it. If it goes past 9 into the red its a diamond. 8 is cz everything less depends on the hardness of the stone. Peridote is 7 citrine is 6 sapphire is 8-9 ect. So depending on your room temperature for the itty bitty stones you set it to 4-6 on the back should be a chart to tell you what temperature and carrot size to test at. Then it tests the conductivity of the item to figure out the hardness. Thats why when you touch metal it beeps instantly diamonds are hard and more conductive than other stones.
I dont think u guys did bad! Love the Packer stuff!! U def made some profit! Looks like a garnet in that ring since ive seen them and had them many times being its my birthstone. Good to see u back!
Centre stone on the ring looks like a garnet. January birthstone. If you continue to find jewellery, you might want to establish a relationship with a jeweller who is local to you, whom you can trust. Appraisals for pieces like this ring, buying broken gold for a percentage of spot value (melt value), repair of valuable pieces, and purchasing your finds.
The Cabbage Patch doll may have value. Other male resellers purchase them depending on age & collectability. One utuber passed on one worth $300. The pair of Raggedy dolls looked homemade. The pair may sell for $40 or more. Nostalgic items have appeal. I've viewed multiple male sellers that buy stuffed animals or plushies to sell on Whatnot auctions or in their eBay stores.
Pretty sure those are rubies in that ring. The ring probably paid for your unit. A lot of neat stuff there well a little bit of neat stuff there. I think you did okay on this one. Nice to see a video from you guys. I watch your Vlogs but looks like you're back into it. Take care.
The red stones are garnets. Not very high-priced stones, but it's a nice ring ! It won't be too valuable but being it's gold and diamonds, you could get a bit for it. -I'm a jeweler . Great video !
It looks like a garnet, but you definitely have a little money in the ring. Being that it is 10kt gold, its obvious that its not a whole lot, but its something. You could probably sell it for about $125.00, and then all the sealed sports cards, you can probably make your money back, as well the ring. I had 3 of my own jewelry stores back in the early 80's. You will at least get what you paid for the unit, and little bit more. Good luck! Laura
Seems quite random to give the pictures and documents back to the storage facility. They can just keep endlessly tossing them in storage containers and re-selling them. Infinite money glitch?
It must be a RUclips thing of giving back pictures and personal items. I've been buying lockers for close to 20 years and the managers of the storage units have told me you dont have to do that, because they have no responsibility to contact the former owner of the unit, and they just throw away all the stuff left behind.
To be honest, if they give you the option, why wouldn’t you? One less thing you’ve gotta get rid of. In this case here-we would’ve had to haul home about 10 bins of pictures to dispose of vs. giving back to the facility for them to deal with.
@@thriftmine True, but We dont go thru the lockers like RUclipsrs...We pay for the locker, load it on the truck, and dont look at anything in boxes or bins until we unload at home.
Definitely content that I can enjoy love the mystery of lockers! Some great items hopefully 3x your investment. Sure you went through those personal totes better off camera never know what’s on the bottom hiding. Sure wish I had the savvy on eBay payments I’m a dinosaur but the golf cards looked interesting. Think you should save some of the books for Ryan Jr. All The Best To The Family! Be Well Be Safe & Stay Blessed.
I'm curious as to why you can't show the photos. You own them, no? Not sure what your local laws are, or what RUclips's policy is, or what the storage facility's policies are, though. Are you being prevented from displaying your own legal property, or are you choosing to out of respect?
I mean I’d say you about made your money back at least. And maybe a few extra bucks. But nothing fantastic. But….I’d say if you at least make your money back is better than losing it.
Hope you enjoy the new video! Great to be back!
Go sell in Australia it’s great Queensland
So great to sell on eBay
We just great to be selling to those buyers online eBay

Good to see ya all!

Glad you're back here. You going to do garage sale stuff again? Are you selling on ebay? Have a great day!
Yes eBay is alive and well!
I dont think u guys did bad! Love the Packer stuff!! U def made some profit! Looks like a garnet in that ring since ive seen them and had them many times being its my birthstone. Good to see u back!
Did I see an ALF book? I’ll keep an eye on your eBay store for that!
Just listed :)
The stone looks like a Garnet. They are semi precious.
Love this type of content. The ring likely came from Kay jewelers due to the other Kay items you found. I'd bring it to them for an estimate first. ✌
Did you end up pulling a profit on this unit?
Maybe a little. At worst break even
Welcome back!

Yeah, this one isn’t very valuable. Whatnot isn’t my thing but I’m willing to sell on eBay all day every day!
Keep on selling, gotta keep on Qld eBay More items to ship Wa haha
Like your videos the ring looks like it's real
You did alright

Hey Wade!
Awesome
Omg I almost bid on that one ! I think it was in Dover ? Am I right? I just remember saying to myself just to far away to possibly get skunked
Nope it wasn’t Dover lol
@@thriftmine then it was Salem cause those are the furthest away I look for auctions

Keep on selling it go great
So, do you return personal stuff like photos? The good guys turn them into the office to return to the owner. Do you?
Did you watch the vid? Lol

I list all the books worth over 10, then lot the rest and dump them 10 to 15 for 20. Media mail is cheap.
Need to break out the instruction booklet for your diamond tester. That is not how you check diamonds.
Aw shucks
Uhhh, that's not how you use a diamond tester. :)
The ring might be garnet and diamonds. Ruby is a little lighter in color. Be sweet and give it to Pam.
Seems quite random to give the pictures and documents back to the storage facility. They can just keep endlessly tossing them in storage containers and re-selling them. Infinite money glitch?
I don’t think so. Pretty sure they just call the former tenant to come pick them up. We had to bring all the bins of pictures to the main office.
@@thriftmine shucks! I just bought an old storage facility. I thought I was gonna get filthy rich!
jk
Thanks for the video!
Bring the ring to Bellmans jeweler in Manchester. They’ll give you an appraisal and they are trustworthy .
Hi dad
He says "Hi."
👍
Great Video!🖒New Sub too!✌💖😁
Cool! Thanks for joining the channel!
To more selling
Id swap out the pictures into garbage bags to sell the bins for 5 bucks each or save 15 and use them
The aggravation to not do that outweighed the potential convenience or money to be made to do that imo
Congratulations on your finds remember always that GOD LOVES YOU AND I DO TOO 🙏
huh?
(Rubs eyes) Ryan….? Is that…you?!
…maybe…
It's a Garnet

I think you made your money back and a profit
Good luck next time.
Take it to a jewler and see what they say. If it's real, then it's worth some good money.
If the Bernstain? Bears book says BerSTEIN, you may have cracked the Mandela effect
Indeed
I’m new store jm got lots of Lego to sell for Australia buyer
There is a 50% chance that this ring once belonged to Queen Elizabeth I
No way!
Got to earn more money soon

Respect - if you defaulted on a unit would you want your face plastered all over RUclips? Probably not. Just seems like the right thing to do.
Where have you been hiding?
It’s a secret
Propose with the ring! 😅
We’ve been married for almost 5 years 😂

Unfortunately cards from those years are mostly overproduced junk
