There really is so much happening in Onew's MV that it blew my mind trying to dissect it. You get a mix of current day (the scenes of objects and him wondering around the school/building showcasing reality), childhood dreams (the stage scene with the cat that showcases hopes and dreams), and the façade of being in a perfect world (the Truman show inspired scenes where he's being filmed). I just love the concept of coming full circle with all aspects of life. The scene that resonated with me most is the scene where Onew is inside the flowy tube (or if you will the belly of the whale) trying to communicate via walky-talky to the outside world Onew. It feels like we all have a safe place or we have something that grounds us to remind us of where we are and how far we've come - never lose sight of what grounds you and all your hopes, dreams, and even fears. Key is the savior of 80-90 ties retro and sync, and honestly the only kpop artist who can make it his own style and fits so perfectly to voice and style- his album /repackage too is a masterpiece and non skip-geniously for sure. Key is to me second to Taemin in dancing skills and how to pull of choreo in the whole industry. It is not about how "acrobatic" idols can be, but the interpretation, face expression, attitude and passion- Key is simply top notch, and as you said; FENOMENAL. yes, he makes one fall of chairs...LOL!! HARD is SHINee definetly new masterpiece and a non skip album. I cant get a favorite, because all the songs with all the variety in the discography just gets you mesmerized. We all pray for Onew's health and hope he gets to rest well, but I must say that the three of them (Key, Minho and Taemin) are truly heroes who has done the rest of their comeback to be SO extraordinary!! I dont think any other kpop group could have pull it off so amazingly with just 60% of the group, covering all the vocal lines perfectly, winning the award shows ect like they have. I am in utter awe. And Minho in these promotions.....goodness me, I dont know where to start! They are the one group that doesn't dims off ny time, but keep increasing! ACE of kpop for sure!! I'd say you're definitely right that "O (Circle)" is about acceptance. The whole album (which flows very well and also loops very well - Circle, right?) has, for the most part, that feeling to it. While he hasn't said anything explicitly, Onew sang the second track from the album, Cough, at this year's annual festival of the Shiny Foundation, the mental health foundation founded and operated by Jonghyun's family. When I really started listening to SHINee I was OT5. Couldn’t choose one over another. Then when I started really watching content it I was leaning towards MinKey. But once I really heard Onew and saw his personality I just kept thinking about him and eventually he became my bias in SHINee. I absolutely adore him and could listen to him all day. To be fair I could listen to SHINee and all their solos all day. But Jinki is just special. If you haven’t heard it yet check out his performance of Nessun Dorma. Also…if you do a Jonghyun day you should really check out his iconic performance of Y Si Fuera Ella. And bring the tissues.

Key looks great in the MV. Hope u do more Shinee reactions. They have so many great songs. I love how Key's music sounds so nostalgic but its new. He nails it every time.
Good Hard reaction, ty. I was thinking wondering if Shinee would change their sound again for this comeback and they did. They experimental so u just have to accept the sound as is, lol. I liked some of the fits. I liked parts of this. I did not like the rhythm on 1st listen. I had to relisten a few times like 5-10. The song is not bad now. Loved Taemin's long hair. He and Key looked great. I felt callbacks to Taemin's songs with his hands covered in black not blue. And of course the piano. They are incorporating their solo works into their group song. Love it. The circle reference is for Onew's solo song. Spotted it because of another reactors' comments. =0} Music connects us all. They will destroy the current music scene and remake it. Maybe. I think it may mean all of it. I think this does sound like their old experimental stuff. It gives me Don't Call Me vibes and that song still is not my vibe. This one was not for me in the beginning. My HS pal recently heard the song. She likes it but told me it was probably an NCT song and should have gone to them, lol. I don't listen to NCT. I like hard songs with a great balanced production. And this one took some getting used too. I did check the album out on Spotify. The Feeling was there which made me so happy. I hope u check out that song too. It has an MV. Taemin said the MV is full of Easter eggs about their solos work. There are 2 moments with the drawings, the first is Taemin mastering the piano (he is the ACE), the second one is Minho running away (the CHASE). They both are the beginning and the end of their debuts. Key discovers the FACE of one dancer, and Onew is showing his VOICE (with Blue paint) with a high note. I'm pretty sure there is something for Jonghyun too, I haven't figured it out yet.

The song was produced by KENZIE, a legendary kpop songwriter. She also did Don't Call Me by SHINee in 2021, worth checking out next. She's worked with them consistently since their debut in 2008.
