The sound reminds me of the string section from Awaken by LoL haha. I realy like the warm touch they gave it. Especially the shorts sound realy nice and precise I think. Great review as always!

In the meantime I have been applying and going over code and stuff like that but it’s holidays so I understand things can be slow cause everyone on vacation. great demo. is this the core version of the library, or the more expensive professional version? the professional version has some more mic locations and some more articulations, but i'm not sure how valuable that is. also, the professional version takes up way more storage space, which is something to consider.

I am very picky with some tools in a string library, like the vibrato. The legato lines, in ALL the walkthrough vídeos about Abbey road Two, bother me a little bit. The vibrato seems so over the top ALL the time. Can you Control the vibrato intensity? Because the sound of this library in general is absolutely superb...
Between this and Tableau SOLO Strings where would you put your money on? Tableau is £120 cheaper with the current discount, it has 1 violin and double bass less but it has portamnet that is not present in the core edition
Good question! Tableau sounds more romantic in nature, while this one features better shorts in my opinion.
Does it have the capability to be less than LOUD ONLY.
I noticed at points you brought dynamics to 0% and the volume and loudness difference from 100% to 0% only reduces by half. Eg. Full dynamics/expression is loudness of 10 bottom dynamics/legato is a loudness of 5. Obviously it should be 0 or 1.
What is your opinion?
How would you compare this to spitfire solo strings?
This compared to Audio Imperia Solo?

huh … this library really sounds amazing. It has a warmth "directness" to it. and though I found spitfire great all the time, their strings always had weird "lushness" to them.

@@ChristopherSiu - Ya I was going to buy pro... But 300 gbs is just way too much space. It's not worth the extra $ for the extra drive space just to have extra mic positions and the portamento articulation. But I've literally wanted this for a year and def am buying it this weekend.
HaHa. OK Just watched this so I changed my mind now. I think I will get the Pro version. I dont' have CSS libraries. Different sounding rooms and players in those. You can hear that for sure in the CSS stuff. I like the CSS for romantic,

The library sounds really incredible. Although as a violinist, I must say the violin legato sounds terrible ;d Still miles behind CSSS
