E36s are the best track car. That's why Spec3 is doing so well as a racing series. It doesn't take much for these to be extremely capable vehicles. People tend to go overboard with them throwing parts at them when. Most of the stock suspension and all of that is perfectly fine but people insist on swapping racks, doing E46 control arms, rear camber arms, etc. It's not needed.
Awesome driving! E36 is a good chasiss for track, no doubt. I also have one. Question: I notice in your video that when shifting to higher gears it looks like the clutch needs to absorb the rpm diff between gears. It seems to be a common issue in M5x engines. Any thoughts? It really is unpleasant for me on track
Dammmm it man. That looked fun as hell. This may sound weird but I want to see a track battle between an E36 M3 and the 2022 GR86 using same non-biased driver.
So smooth at 8:00. Awesome driving!
Thanks 🏁🏁🏁
mad at myself for selling the 2 E36 i had but priorities kicked in. Definitely want another one!
and so the cycle begins
"I wanna keep it gripped up"... LOL!!!! It's Blake! haha!!!
You already know Im here for this. lol. That thing rips!
Hell yeah so fun. Can't wait to see you ripping on track 🏁🏁

That 3rd lap the tires were all there
When’s the e30 coming back on track?
“Now that’s how you supposed to drive, from now on that’s how you drive.”
How do feel about it’s mileage ? Does it matter to you / what do you do about it?
Drop those comments down below guys it really helps the videos more than you know 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼🏁🏁

Lighter flywheel will help the rev hang
@@BlakesGarage huge expense and not sure whether in M50 engines the rev hang comes from ecu mapping or lazy o2 sensors
totally agree, love mine, looking forward to racing this year :D
What is the name of this race track?
Ripping and shredding my AR1’s hahaha
Lol 😂 I actually only really slid it once and it wasn’t on purpose but when the rear kick out you just got to go with it and send it 👍🏼👍🏼🏁🏁🏁
The E36 has a sharper and lighter steering than the BMWs that came after it.
Great video but no mention of which engine it is
M3 S52 Stock engine and power maybe a intake and exhaust
@@BlakesGarage ahhh thank you! It was great to watch!
cap not detected
What springs do you recommend ?
Swift
Overreving and powershifting = faster lap times! Lol

I’d love to do that, sounds super fun.
Nice No Quarter mix.
What motor is in that car
Quad turbo V2
@@leavingasap843 what? It says it has a m50 manifold swap lol so it’s be an m52
It’s an m52 I belive
S52 us spec
@@leavingasap843 wrong, it is a 4 cyl LS swap with single scroll turbo
350z better. Midship engine and doublewishbones
Heavy and more expensive to buy, and more expensive to run, because weight.
@@r129r16pfl its not actually a big wright difference. But yes a little heavier. 1-200lbs
350z’s are dogshit. Change my mind.
