- In this video I show you how to make a flying follower for your character in only 1 minute using Unreal Engine 5. This technique is super easy and requires little blueprints experience. I also show how to expand on the follower by making a custom animation blueprint.

I never thought about using the spring arm for something like this. Super useful!
Probably one of the best tutorials I’ve seen. It’s exactly what I was looking for at the exact right time 😆
Thank you so very much for this. I’ve been looking everywhere for a tutorial similar to this for my RTS game. This is everything I was looking for.
That's a clever technique

Spring arm right! Was the last touch need'd that could maybe use, thankya~!~(=^‥^)ノ
how can i make flying ai not just going thorough but collision with object and keep following character?
How would I use this in a multiplayer game ?
Is it possible to create interactions in this pet created in this way? like attacking for example. Or does it need to be done another way?
You would need to do something different' like spawn a BP Actor and attach it to your character, that BP Actor should inherit custom made classes like "Interaction" or "Defend Player", then you can have an overlap box in the BP Actor or have it listen for commands.
Paimon!!!!!!
the anim blueprint isnt working?
