well is a possible simpler explanation that most of the btc rally is ETFs, so you won't have the same extent or capital rotation to the small caps since the people buying into the ETFs are not playing the degen game

This corresponds perfect to the BTC.D high. There are many clear winners in this bull cycle. So why not stick to these and wait till USDT.D reaches its bottom resp. OTHERS.D reaches its high? And why are you so sure that many of these shitcoin will underperform BTC at the heights of the bullrun? And are so many shitcoins offered as future? I don't know. The better bet would be to stick to the winners and short at the beginning of the bear market. Key is to find coins with a decent community, team, tokenomics, narrative and trust. Gerhard, I've believed for a long time that the small alt coins were predominately sh&& coins and perhaps people now see that smart money for the small retail guys is better placed in BTC, Eth, etc. I lost my arse over the years in crap coins and have focused 90 percent of my portfolio of BTC, Eth,Xlm, Doge, etc. Cheers my friend.
