When I export my video I can hear the audio but I can't see anything in the file? Edit: Found out the reason windows media player doesn’t support .mov files but I used another video player!
Hi! It sounds like the video layer might be missing or not visible during export. Here’s how to fix it: Check Layers: Ensure your video layer is not hidden in the timeline (click the eye icon to make sure it's visible). Composition Settings: Confirm that your composition is set up correctly and includes both video and audio layers. Render Queue: When you add the composition to the render queue, make sure to select the correct output format (e.g., H.264) and ensure the video and audio settings are enabled. Hope this helps! Cheers!
@@envatotuts Thank you but I needed to purchase an add-on to windows media player because microsoft is greedy but I found out I can use a 3rd party video player. Thanks for your reply anyway!
Hi, can I ask you a question? I have exported an animation in after effects but I cannot open it on my iphone. I exported it as a H.264 file but my iphone cannot read the video. I am trying to upload an animation to instagram to be specific. Could you help me out?
Hi! It sounds like the issue might be with the codec compatibility on your iPhone. Try exporting the animation as an .mp4 file instead of just using H.264, and make sure to check the resolution and compression settings for Instagram. That should help with uploading it! Cheers!
Hi! It sounds like the issue could be related to your export settings. Here's how you can fix it: Check the Render Queue: Make sure your video composition is in the Render Queue. Format Settings: In the Render Queue, click on the "Output Module" settings. Ensure you're exporting to a video format like H.264 (for MP4) or QuickTime, and not just audio. Check Audio/Video Channels: Ensure both the video and audio channels are enabled under the "Channels" option in the Output Module settings. Preview in Composition: Before exporting, preview the composition in After Effects to make sure both video and sound are visible and audible. Give that a try! Hope this helps! Cheers!
First seen how long your animation is like 10 sec then your composition is 30 sec go to comp settings then change the timeline from 30sec to 10sec as per your edit then export
Thank you so MUCH
underrated af
Sir can you tell me what is your pc hardware like how much core in your cpu for this type of editing
i'm trying to render a 16 second clip and it renders 2 more minutes of nothingness
idk how to change that
does anyone know??
click composition (beside file and edit) and then click composition settings and then change the length to the desired amount (16 secs)
go to comp settings then change the timeline to 16 seconds
How can I make the rendered video file smaller?
When I try to render it says “the name of the output module is already in use. Please choose another name.” What do I do?
Rename maybe?

after clicking lossless in the render queue, check your audio settings
why when i export it export like a long black video after my video ended?
it might be how long your file is
