Brian! You are a Great Person! I had purchased Arroccino3, but did not know to use it, so was lying useless! I followed your video, learnt and had a big mug of coffee! It’s just wonderful! Thank you so much for the video! It’s so informative & true!
These things will NEVER beat the good old steam wand for frothing milk. A steam wand will give you much finer textured milk froth which actually pours out of the mug rather than having to be spooned out. I have a steam wand at home and we have an Aeroccino at work. The finer bubbles produced with the wand stay like that for the duration of your drink while the Aeroccino bubbles tend to grow bigger so by the time you are near the end of your drink you have a bunch of large bubbles and the froth is nowhere near as dense as it should be. If you are dead set on getting a pod machine then I'd highly recommend getting one with a wand. It takes about the same amount of time to foam milk using both methods but with a wand all you have to do is wipe the nozzle with a damp cloth after you've used it while the Aeroccino needs to be taken to the sink, rinsed out, sometimes cleaned with detergent and left to dry, so the cleaning up process is more time consuming negating whatever advantage you gain during the automated frothing process. In short, a steam wand will give you the cafe style froth you're probably looking for in your latte or cappuccino.
This is truly useful, as the product's manual runs to 200 multi-lingual pages of warnings without actually telling you how the bloody thing works. Which, when explained, is simplicity itself.
My foamer just would not make froth and after attempting many types of milk like 2% and Full Cream. Then tried Long Life milk ...and jippie!! Frothed like mad. So happy
I got my on eBay $59 compare to $99 and my is the same but red if anyone if wondering you can use and milk even coffee mate or delight creamer I also wash my machine in cold water I DON'T NEVER WASH IN HOT OR mix only cold water 🥶 never had a problem with my machine I love this thing ❤️🥰
Thanks for the review! Would’ve been nice to see it with an espresso shot to see how it blends with the coffee and if the milk is very bubbly or not.. also a review on the non froth whisk too. Seems like more of a “how to” video instead...
I have just brought the new aeroccino3 machine direct from nespresso uk- I came straight to youtube for videos on how to use it and also got confused and thought I had been sent the wrong one. We reckon that the model we have got- with no power button on the base and only one whisk is the newest model on the market and the ones in most the youtube videos are older models. You just take the coil whisk off and that is then your whisk for making milk without so much froth
Does the aeroccino heat the milk as well as froth it? Can't seem to find out anywhere. If so what temp can it heat the milk to? I really like a nice hot coffee. Any advice appreciated. I have been looking at the bundles on Amazon uk
I bought the Aeroccino 3 machine & thought I was buying the newest Aeroccino 3. It's an older model that doesn't have a turn on button or a place to hold the whisk on the base. I used this machine several times and it couldn't make a foamy froth. The motor started making a strange noise, the whisk turned very slowly and stopped. The machine had a defect and I was sent a replacement, but the replacement machine still doesn't make milk create a foamy froth. It froths the milk a little but it's not foamy like the frothed milk that is show on the RUclips videos.
I just got one (came with nespresso u) and mine is like yours in the video, the foam, while delicious, requires scooping with a spoon and doesn't pour out in a nice smooth creamy foam way like in other advertisements for this. was wondering if you have experimented with different kinds of milk, different %s, and found some that make the foam nice and easy to pour out. does it also depend on milk volume in the device? thanks.
I find my skim milk foams up better, then my whole milk. Almond milk, and skim milk I have gotten no foam. For Cappuccino I use the low line, for lattes I use the upper line
It has to do with fat content....more protein more foam, so whole milk is supposed to be the best due to the highest protein content! Animal milk is supposed to work better than plant based milk as well...
I got my Aeroccino 3 milk frothing machine to work properly by using a different brand of milk, both milk products were whole milk, I don't know why it worked with one brand and not the other. The video would be more helpful if it explained that you may have to experiment with different milk products to make it foam.
The three-thousand page instruction manual tells you absolutely stuff-all about how it works, just how it might hurt if you drop it on your foot, not to use it whilst in the bath (danger of electric shock apparently) or that it could melt if you chuck it violently into your wood burner (which is what I very nearly did). Only the video by Aromacup saved my device (a gift) from an extremely nasty ending. I offer my services to Nespreso, free of charge, to design an A5 leaflet that tells a simple story of how the bloody thing works.
You don't need to press twice. You need to press and hold till it starts. Also which whisk are you using? Here's 2 whisks. You need to use wire whisk. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
For cleanup, you say just rinse it out with water... is that enough? I mean sure rinsing 3-4 times but doesn't it get nasty after a couple months of use and only rinsing with water? If you do clean it a little deeper, what would you suggest as to minimize risk of damaging the electrical components?
Brian, Let's assume I want to make several cappuccinos, can I add more milk to the container if there is still a little milk and some froth still in it? Will it froth again?
It should have power switch (in US at least). But you bought it in Germany so I'm not sure. In Germany they also use 220v right? Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Huge downside is how little milk you get. I make my wife the equivalent of a Grande Latte every morning before work, and all I need to do is microwave a nearly-full travel tumbler of milk for 2 minutes then hit it with an Aerolatte wand for 20 seconds. Toss that under the Tassimo for a minute and bam, done. 1 cup, zero cleanup.
of course , a coffee is just a simple shot , it's the same for all types ( capp' , latte etc ) the milk quantity & preparation is what determines the difference .
The on/off switch is now flashing red when finished. In the past it would just turn off when done. Also the milk is a bit hotter than before. Do you know what's going on.
Do you know if it's possible to purchase one of the whisks without purchasing the entire product again? I recently moved and one of the whisks got lost :(
Does this get it extremely hot ? I have a knockoff no brand frother I love it but it’s small capacity and it’s ready to drink temp and in 5 min the milk is stone cold ? Any suggestions for milk frother that will make milk super hot so I can work and drink my coffee and hot chocolate gradually
The way Nespresso showed me is when the Aeroccino 3 milk frother stops after it has frothed the milk I then with the lid in spin it, take the lid off & poor all the contents into my cup.
Great comment. I agree if you need a lot of milk this is not the best option. We publish new Review for Breville milk frother next week. Stay tune. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Most of the milk turned into froth , almost nothing left to drink , I personally prefer the french press to froth my milk , at least I can control how much froth I want 👍
Awesome review. Thanks - It would be nice though if you could let us know of alternatives on the market (or, if there aren't that would be helpful info as well). Keep up the great content!
@Clitckity Clank Hah! 5 years for a reply ;) I remember this because at the time we didn't have a lot of spare cash, and I researched this *so* much and we bought one and I love it *so* much.
I also bought mine directly from Nespresso. I only has one wisk, no on/off button and no storage unit for the missing wisk. Also, cannot figure out how to froth cold milk. Anyone have the answers?
You and I have the latest version: please read the instructions as it should've been clear. Basically, it is a 2-in-1 whisk, the coil is removable and it can be stored on the inside of the lid.
For some reason, my Aeroccino does not make a foam. It warms up a milk and makes foam maybe few mm high. Have you any advise on this? Thank you in advance.
so i bought it too but i still don't understand how to make a cold froth, i put the milk, i press twice the button so it came blue but nothing. it doesn't come out a froth, is just normal cold milk
My aero chino has stopped working , still whisks but doesn’t heat the milk, very disappointed as hasn’t been used often and cleaned after every use. Attached to machine so not sure of solution. Anyone help
owned 2 of these. constantly give me flashing light meaning thermostat error. slightest bit of burnt milk on the base and it plays up. even sometimes no matter how clean it is it just throws error and you get cold half foamed milk. 2 of them. looking up reviews its a common issue.
Great review! Just one comment, if you don't want to wake everyone up in the house, then you better just enjoy the milk froth. Don't do the actual espresso, because the Nespresso pump opposite to the aeroccino is very loud! xD
Brian . . . take the comments into account and drastically shorten your videos - I just used the scroll button util I saw you pick up the milk jug and got all the info I needed. Apart from the pointless verbosity, the video was good :)
I tried using almond milk, half & half & did not work well. I tried heavy cream & work better but not great. I am in keto so can not have regular milk.
I just used this, absolutely amazing. I never thought you could make such a great cappuccino at home.
Brian! You are a Great Person! I had purchased Arroccino3, but did not know to use it, so was lying useless! I followed your video, learnt and had a big mug of coffee! It’s just wonderful! Thank you so much for the video! It’s so informative & true!
So much easier than reading the owners manual. Well done video !!! Thank You!

I'm making coffee at 4:10 am and how quiet that unit is is gold to me.

I purchased one based on this video. Thank you for creating and posting this.
How come my aeroccino 3 has a different base and different whisks?
Cleaning is not just a case of "just run it under some water" the heated milk leaves a skin on the bottom.
You're right 👍
Yup, maybe fill and soak inside w detergent+water, then afterwards rinse out w hot water.

My bundle came with one that said 3 too and came w one whisk and no power button. Glad I wasn't the only one confused
Came here to find out what that bobble thing was on the base - it’s storage for the whisk you’re not using! Thank you 🙏🏽

*Obrigado pelas dicas, acabei comprando: **ruclips.net/video/AGC9sLKubFQ/видео.html*
Thank you!
I’ve tried so many creamers I’ve lost count!
I’m in Europe and now he UHT milk works every time. Wish we could get it in Canada!
Tough crowd. Thank you for informative video. Over a million views! that's impressive.

Can you suggest a milk frother that will make enough frother or warm milk for 2 cups?
You don't need to press twice. You need to press and hold till it starts. Also which whisk are you using? Here's 2 whisks. You need to use wire whisk. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.

Use soapy water just make sure you rinse thoroughly.
The company will tell you no lid for frothing and the unit now comes with only on tool for froth and stir. You just remove the coil for stir.
Brian, Let's assume I want to make several cappuccinos, can I add more milk to the container if there is still a little milk and some froth still in it? Will it froth again?
Are you sure this is a Aeroccino 3? I have a 3 and it doesn't have two whisks or storage from them.
we have the same unit, only one whisk and no light indication at the bottom.
Please help me to choose what kind of milk I need to use for this machine..I tried so many kind of milk but not frothing 😥😥
It should have power switch (in US at least). But you bought it in Germany so I'm not sure. In Germany they also use 220v right? Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
What is the volume of lower and upper markings? Is there a difference in pressing the button lightly or forced?
We use cold milk to make hot milk and froth :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
Hello, can i use an alternative milk such as cashew milk or oat milk?
Thanks!!! Great info since instructions are a little difficult to see!!!

Can you tell me if I can make coffee art with this? Or is the froth too thick? I have one and can't, maybe I"m messing up. Thanks
Forgot to mention use dish soap and a 🧽 never put in the dishwasher
Yes it's. Plus 40-50 other coffee makers :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
This isn’t the Aeroccino 3 (Model 3594). This is an older Aeroccino model (Model 3194).
is it possible to do latte art with this?
what are the styles of coffee / milk ( capp' , latte etc ) that the different whisks produce ?
of course , a coffee is just a simple shot , it's the same for all types ( capp' , latte etc ) the milk quantity & preparation is what determines the difference .
The on/off switch is now flashing red when finished. In the past it would just turn off when done. Also the milk is a bit hotter than before. Do you know what's going on.
cold I use chocolate, like nescau or nesquik, in aeroccino?
do it break the aeroccino3?
what type of milk did you use in aeroccino 3? i used fresh milk and didn't grt any froth at all, just latte. i put milk in the bottom max line
Cool! Thanks for this! Got an idea now on what gift to give for my newly wed friends.
It's very easy actually. Quick access to all parts. Just wash it with water :). Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com.
Hmmm I have the aerocinno 3 but my base is just plain circular. 😫
Do you know if it's possible to purchase one of the whisks without purchasing the entire product again? I recently moved and one of the whisks got lost :(

Good question. Have you found out since?
bought one of these on-line last night, prior to seeing this review, so glad i bought it now - can't wait to use it. Awesome Review.
Does it froth other types of milk as well? Like almond or coconut milk?
I use almond/cashew blend. The froth is dreamy!!
Thankyou. You are very clear. It is a great machine for coffee lovers
How much milk (oz.) does it hold? Looks like a small amount in the video. I want to be able to make a 16oz cup.
Great comment. I agree if you need a lot of milk this is not the best option. We publish new Review for Breville milk frother next week. Stay tune. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
How to make the coffee extra hot?
Most of the milk turned into froth , almost nothing left to drink , I personally prefer the french press to froth my milk , at least I can control how much froth I want 👍
Do I remove the thin metal ring that’s on the frother?
Can u add sugar before the froth?
Awesome review. Thanks - It would be nice though if you could let us know of alternatives on the market (or, if there aren't that would be helpful info as well). Keep up the great content!
@Clitckity Clank Hah! 5 years for a reply ;) I remember this because at the time we didn't have a lot of spare cash, and I researched this *so* much and we bought one and I love it *so* much.
Is it possible to hold the items you're describing still for even a second or two? Video does not lend itself to the image leaping around.
How long can you store the froth
Does it heat the milk as well as froth it?
My question as well
Isn't filling it up to the fill line like you did, producing a lot more milk froth than you need for one cup of coffee?
Yes, we are filling to the to line when we are making two coffees. We are filling to the first line when doing only one coffee.
What’s the best milk to use for a better outcome?
LGM whole milk
LOL...at least he says: "...I talk a lot, I know..." @ 2:52 Thanks for your video, and it's awesome, @ 2:32 It takes cold milk too! nice
Just bought mine Aerocinno 3 and it doesn't froth milk at all. Used a long life full fat milk cold milk any idea where did I go wrong.
I also bought mine directly from Nespresso. I only has one wisk, no on/off button and no storage unit for the missing wisk. Also, cannot figure out how to froth cold milk. Anyone have the answers?

For some reason, my Aeroccino does not make a foam. It warms up a milk and makes foam maybe few mm high. Have you any advise on this? Thank you in advance.
***** I am using U milk mashine with added Aeroccino. Filling a milk up to first (bottom) line.
How hot is hot?
so i bought it too but i still don't understand how to make a cold froth, i put the milk, i press twice the button so it came blue but nothing. it doesn't come out a froth, is just normal cold milk
What type of milk is compatible? 2%, 3.5%, 10, 18....
thank you for your help
How difficult is the cleaning process?
I just received my order , but it doesn’t make any foam and sounds horrible! Coffee maker is fine by itself but the milk froth doesn’t work at all😭
Does it heat the milk or just make a foam? I didn’t get it , hope someone answers me
did you use hot milk or cold one?
i put hot milk or regular milk ?
because i put rgular milk but make little furm -_-!
does it matter what kind of milk you use?is 2% milk give me much foam?
My aero chino has stopped working , still whisks but doesn’t heat the milk, very disappointed as hasn’t been used often and cleaned after every use. Attached to machine so not sure of solution. Anyone help
Have you used soy milk with this machine? I have a problem that it stops, and I have to manipulate the 'whisker' to get it to start again.
Mine can with just a base and no addition whisks
Great video thx Bryan
What is the 2nd whisk used for?
If you want to heat your milk without frothing it.
Little overview...😋
owned 2 of these. constantly give me flashing light meaning thermostat error. slightest bit of burnt milk on the base and it plays up. even sometimes no matter how clean it is it just throws error and you get cold half foamed milk. 2 of them. looking up reviews its a common issue.
I love this frother but it doesn't heat the milk up very hot. Any comments?
It doesn't heat it up very much? Are you sure?
Well I like the milk piping hot and it comes out moderately hot
Does it hold more milk than the Plus?
Great review! Just one comment, if you don't want to wake everyone up in the house, then you better just enjoy the milk froth. Don't do the actual espresso, because the Nespresso pump opposite to the aeroccino is very loud! xD
Mine doesn't have an on/off button on the base
I wanted to see cleanup also
Como llo puedo conpral lo. de. Asel espuma
You should use regular milk. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Brian . . . take the comments into account and drastically shorten your videos - I just used the scroll button util I saw you pick up the milk jug and got all the info I needed. Apart from the pointless verbosity, the video was good :)
Will It work ok with soy milk?
Maximum hot milk froth capacity: 4.4 oz.; maximum hot milk capacity: 8½ oz. Enjoy your cup, Aromacup.com
Hot hot does it make the milk?
can it heat the milk?
I tried using almond milk, half & half & did not work well. I tried heavy cream & work better but not great. I am in keto so can not have regular milk.
What if you don’t want froth?
