    Few errors to point out:
    1. Don’t bend over and roll the hose up. Do this for more than one hose length and you’ll hurt your back. Stand up and roll it in your hand. You can easily pull the hose towards you and keep it straight with your foot. Your back will thank you.
    2. You spaced it too far. You don’t need 3 booth lengths. Only need 1.5 boot lengths. You want the couplings to be much closer. You don’t need 12-18” of hose to protect the male couple. That is overkill. Only need it to overlap by 5-6”. Besides when you go to roll it out you want to be holding both couplings so you don’t get whacked in the face by one!

This one is too slow, its wiser to put the hose parallel and place the male coupling om top of the female same line thus you role nicely without delay..better technic though.thank you

Female coupling should always be on top of the male coupling, not the other way round

why is the female 12-18 longer?

The 12-18” overlap allows the female side of the hose to protect the threads on the male coupling.

Male 18-24 inches from the female to allow for easy deployment grip

You don’t need 12-18” to overlap. That’s overkill. Only need 5-6” at best. And when you go to deploy it you want the couplings to be closer together for a smooth roll out. He spaced it too much. Should be 1.5 boot lengths. Not 3

    Isn't this a Dutch roll

Not In the states. It’s called a donut as it looks like one. The uk call it a Dutch roll halved over itself. A conventional is just rolled. Without going over itself
