An interesting point about the tea comment: in northern England (and even Midlands to an extent) they refer to their evening meal as "tea" instead of supper. So that's probably what was going on.

We had dismissed it until you decided to give the recipe a try. All I can say is that there is great humor in truth, and you turned this truly awful recipe into a comedic masterpiece!
As a german, i just want to take the opportunity do clarify, that neither "Essen Rezepte" nor "Leckere Küche" has anything to do with our kitchen or our culture. These are typically auto-translated channels from some third world country.
Neither are ANY of those recepies in any way authentic, even the subtitles are a peak of google-translated clusterfuck-german.
"Essen Rezepte" literrally translates to: "Fooding recipies". Or "Eat recipies" - NOT "Eating recipies" or "Food recepies" which would actually both make sense. Even the title shows that it's just auto translated bullshit.
Love your videos, still i needed to get that off my chest, since it offends me to have these trash viral videos having these much views and anybody would think, that these are "german" cooking channels.

AHH! Finally! Someone actually tests this stupid recipe. Sonny, I've seen this many times now and can't believe anyone actually cooks like this. Thank you for testing it and being hilarious while doing so - but also seriously trying to cook it as it's presented and being willing to admit if it actually works or tastes good (neither of which it does.) I am convinced that many of these "dump" recipes are not serious. You gave it a go, though, and I appreciate it.

I question if the millions of views on these videos are some kind of bots. You have great channels like this one that have humor and good cooking techniques with likable personalities that never come close to that many views. I guess no talking, hands and music just sells 😂
I think it’s people’s short attention spans that buy the TikTok videos over a video that has humor, is well edited, and thoughtful (or at least funny) dialogue, and lasts 15 minutes.

After living in Germany for 4 years I can safely say that most ethnic dishes dishes made by Germans tend to come out weird. I tried a burrito from a place off base that everyone sweared was so amazing. It was like bad chunky spaghetti sauce rolled into a tortilla.
Pasta and italian dishes in general are so simple, just quality ingredients and technique. Tiktokers always find amzingly complicated ways to fck things up in a dish that is already perfect with like 3 ingredients.

Regarding the name "Leckere Küche" (pronounced leck-uhr kyoo-kuh, I think), that translates to "Tasty Kitchen" from German. That said, I'm glad more longform cooking channels are showing how impossible it is to make these ASMR cooking recipes. Or, at the very least, presentation does not equal viability.

Thank you for doing this and being honest. I see these recipes all the time, as well as captions claiming you need only 2 ingredients, and you will cook it every day, while there are at least 10 ingredients in each recipe, and they never look like something I want to eat even once. I report these recipes for being misleading. I'm sure it doesn't do anything, but I don't get why they get that many views, while true recipes are ignored.

it is actually un-necessary. even though I made it with a little add ons and twist, and it was actually acceptable. I think the issue with your version was during the searing. the packs opened and the pasta touched the skillet. plus it maybe needed more liquid. but over all it was a pain in the ass and not worth to be done. love you guys , keep going
Kay's Cooking made a similar (read: same) recipe like this. That alone should set off some alarm bells.
I've recently started cooking my pasta in the sauce. You have to manage it a bit more, but it works and makes an more starchy sauce. It's thick and you can tell it's different, but hard to put your finger on. Skips a step, saves a dish and I like it. Kinda like this crazy ass recipe
Edit: oh you have to keep adding water as the noodles suck it up.

When I think of all the people who actually made this recipe… all that ground beef that could have been used for good stuff like burgers, meatloaf, bolognese sauce, shepherd’s pie… and this is where it ended up. I weep.

I do not think that recipe originally came from that channel, but was adapted from Kay's Cooking, and it was titled "A Different Spaghetti Bolognese". Kay had no seasoning, and the result was much worse. I suggest you go look at the original video. The German one was probably an attempt to fix her disastrous attempt.

You're basically looking at what's known as "Spaghetti all'assassina", it breaks ALL the rules for spaghetti but remains a popular dish...
One thing I noticed, iof you look in the original video, when they cut that meat in half and turn it away from the camera, you don't see the spaghetti, the meat is a solid piece in the center. I think they broke the spaghetti in half and stuck it into the meat from both sides
