- Today we attempt THE BIGGEST American food challenge I have ever seen in a very long time!
Today we are attempting a true American eating challenge consisting of a giant cobbler! This is one of the biggest food challenges in america also! It weighed over 25lb (with the skillet). Now it can be done solo or as a team.
Rules for this undefeated eating challenge are : Individual Challengers have 1.5 hours (90 minutes) to consume 1- 24" Big Skillet of Titanberry Cobbler. 2 Person Team Challengers have 1 hour (60 minutes) to consume 1- 24" Big Skillet of Titanberry Cobbler. 3 Person Team Challengers have 30 minutes to consume 1- 24" Big Skillet of Titanberry Cobbler. Time begins when the first bite is taken. Challengers may bring any beverage of their choice to drink throughout the challenge.
Once time has begun challengers cannot leave the table for any reason or the challenge is over.
Challengers must retain the cobbler for at least 10 minutes following the stopped clock.
Challengers who complete the challenge in the allotted time frame will receive: $50 entry fee refunded, A Big Skillet Cobbler Challenge Tee, their Photo on our Web and Social Wall of Fame.
It is a very good deal for only $50, and the staff and food are awesome.

LOL! Joel, "cobble" is a very old and common term in the States for putting together what you have to make something that works. Not sure if it's related to the shoemaker cobbler, but probably to cobblestones, which are all different sizes to make up the surface of a road.

Eating 20 lbs of the same thing, no matter how delicious, is still a challenge. You always get thru it like a beast!
You know the cast iron 24" pan is included in the weight? The pan is 14.89lb

I love cobbler (especially berry) but 1 big spoon like you had would have been enough for me :D I know the clock said just over 19 minutes but I'm guess it felt more like 90! Great effort Joel and nice touch going for some ice-cream at the end.

My fav dessert though is something I had called "pie-cake" Bottom half was sweet potato pie, and the top layer was pound cake. The combo was 🤤 much like a cobbler.

I can eat like an Absolut gross amount of food. But at 14 min in JOEL I'd be in tears. There's just no way that had to be so rich.
I've never had a cobbler that was that sticky. I must be missing out. All the ones I had were more syrupy and not gooey.

As delicious as that looks, all I can see as a former dishwasher is the burnt crusted sugar that is going to need to be super heated and scraped off. Omg the real heroes are in the kitchen washing and reseasoning that pan.

This will be the best sweet challenge. Berries are not overly sweet and cobbler just isnt overly sweet.

Peach cobbler is the best on earth. You need to put the ice cream on top of the cobbler and eat it. when it melts and blends in with the cobbler hot dam.
