It doesn’t matter if they were born alpha or not you CAN train your dog not to be aggressive. Especially food aggression because that can lead to the owner being growled at or even bitten. At the very least you can train them to have enough respect for you as “head of the pack” not to act that way towards other dogs around you...I lived in Korea for over two years and dogs definitely seem to be treated more like babies or toys...
It says in the video that Leo changed after they were born. Sometimes an owner can help that behaviour once it occurs, sometimes not. And you don't know them..this is a short snippet of their life with their dogs. You don't know what else they're doing to help the situation. They may research what to do and/or sought help. Until it gets violent, there's not a great concern. And He may grow fond of them on his own, maybe he needs/needed time.
