Singapore has beautiful city n clean...however, after spending one or two days there we tend to get bored...nothing much to see coz its a small country..whereas, malaysia there's a lot to offer...beautiful cities, beaches, tropical rainforest, mountains, food n so on...sorry i m not being biased, however singapore n malaysia cannot be compared for many reasons..
I have been bored for five days in Singapore. not much to visit other than full of buildings of the same shape (box shape). this condition gives rise to the effect of boredom.
Not gonna lie, sg is slightly higher in terms of the standard and safety but hell it wont be anyone first pick as it freaking expensive and people tend to be so rude and tense. Meanwhile at kl, had a hard time for the transports but other than that were so awesome. Much diverse and delicious foods, more events, cheaper entrance fees to parks sometimes free. All in all, sg was good for high class smooth date but kl win the hearts of many as it more diverse, friendly people and cheaper with the almost same quality.
Sg people are rude? Are you biased? Singapore although expensive has a high pay. If you cannot keep up with the pay, don't stay there. The Quality of Singapore is much better I think. And the government is wow.
I ve stayed in Singapore for 3 years. Its clean neat and tidy. Mrt is excellent. Singapore is strict in laws which is good. No littering. Now im back to kl and its my home country. Thank u Singapore for making my 3 years stay a memorable one. Hopefully to visit yr country soon.
I live in Singapore but honestly Singapore is not beautiful as many of the people thought compared to Kuala Lumpur... Kuala Lumpur much better.... Thank you
Even the whole of Singapore island, if put in the Lake or Danau Toba cannot cover the size the lake.. its show how Huge the Lake Toba.. underated beautiful tourist attractions in Indonesia!!!
I have been to the both cities and remember them with nostalgia...Putrajaiya, Batu caves, suria Klcc- Lion city, Orchard road, Victoria street...greetings from Kenya.
For tourists, Singapore is definitely the city I would recommend. To live in however, give me greater KL anytime. You get much bigger and more affordable houses, cheaper cars, more parks and space to move around in and of course you are not confined to an island state.
But you dont mention cheaper salary too. Also actually in Singapore there are so much more parks than KL. As to being confined to an island state, I’d say its easy to take a flight and travel to popular regional vacation spots like Bali or Phuket, you just have to save up a weeks salary to afford it.
@@LOLnesssss Doesn't matter higher salary but all you can afford is hdb flat and sometimes cant afford car because of high taxes and ownership permit like COE. Meanwhile the median income citizen in KL with cheaper salary can afford landed house and have at least 2 cars per family. Also KL have much more parks, either man made or natural with oldest rainforest parks, hills and mountains just less than an hour drive. Going to Bali or Phuket for regional vacation? That's proved the point that singapore is confined state as it just small & boring you even need to take vacation elsewhere instead of your own country.
For me its simple... Place where u can make more money / go for shopping : Singapore A place for living : Malaysia A place for some treats : Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam Looking for new adventure : Laos,Phillipine, Cambodia easy to remember..simple..efficient...
As a Malaysian, i admire Singapore's cleanliness and civil order. KL would be a much better place if people actually learned how to drive. All i have to say is that Singapore is extravagant and KL is more exciting.

@Nik 2001 expensive cost of living. in fact, many Singaporean go to Johor Bharu Malaysia to buy groceries and to fill up their tanks. Malaysia is still a good neighbour that still doesn't impose any foreign price for the Singaporean. If Malaysia starts to impose regulations where all customer needs to present their id card for every purchase, maybe Singaporean won't have those kinds of ease anymore and had to pay a hefty price for any of their purchase.
Both city has it own unique apperence.. Singapore city by the bay and sea whereas KL city surrounded by green lushed range of mountains.. Proud to be an Asean .. Go Asean peace unity and harmony

Kualar Lumpur might not look as pristine as does Singapore, but it just feels so much more spacious and carefree. I never regretted moving to Singapore, but it does at times feel a little too cramped for my taste.
I used to work in Singapore. The things I missed the most there are the convenience of the public transports, Fairprice, PCN and of course walking! The PCN is so convenient that I could cycle from Queenstown all the way to East Coast Park, and also my favourite place Labrador Park. But nature and scenery wise I would still prefer Malaysia cause I find nature in SG a little artificial. Would definitely visit SG again in the future but this time as a tourist

Singapore city is way superior than Kuala Lumpur city. It's more cleaner, modern and technological advance. But i like Kuala Lumpur a little bit more because its cheaper and have some varieties.

Singapore (5.8mil people, $650bn GDP PPP)
If these two cities were a country, it would be an economy that surpassed $1trillion GDP PPP
Actually both cities are awesome. Its really hard to pick where to live between both. But if have to choose, it would be KL but maybe SG 20% - 30% of the time.
Stuck in Singapore during Covid is awesome. But stuck in Malaysia, you feel freedom. Especially domestic travel were opened with various type of foods, cultures, road trip more than 350km and amazing travel such as trip to mountains, hill resorts, cable car between 2 mountains, speed on highway over 110kmh, river cruise in Melaka, beautiful various selection of beaches and much more.

These two places are truly remarkable and amazing to me. It's more relaxing in KL because you can go and see other natural beauty of the surrounding suburban area but when speaking about job opportunity, I think Singapore has an edge of it, being the financial capital of the ASEAN. But to me these two cities again are wonderful.

As a singaporean I agree Malaysia is much more beautiful as there is much more places to explore
@@jaden2660 You're a gracious Singaporean, willing to accept criticism. I am Malaysian from KL
I have been bored for five days in Singapore. not much to visit other than full of buildings of the same shape (box shape). this condition gives rise to the effect of boredom.
Kuala lumpur have beach??
Yes, we do have many nice beaches in malaysia
Love Malaysia, respect sgpore.. Also Brunei..❤️

I live in Kuala Lumpur, love it and what a great deal to have Singapore just next door. Singapore is world class and just a short drive away.
Place where u can make more money / go for shopping : Singapore
A place for living : Malaysia
A place for some treats : Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam
Looking for new adventure : Laos,Phillipine, Cambodia
easy to remember..simple..efficient...
