Learning how to study is actually important like you addressed. I studied hard instead of studying smart. There's a lot of things that help. I stopped cramming 2hrs before the test, and started doing 1 the DAY of the class. I was able to save a lot more time and get more in my head. Another one that helps me and is kind of weird but, having a clean room is nice. Helps peace of mind. I used to never study in my room because I legit had no desk to study and all of my books were under different things. I liked your analogy on saying "Half court shots" vs. "layups and midranges" it's all about HOW you study
