  • The plaintiff claims the defendant, her ex, took her computer and video camera and threw them out. The plaintiff is suing for the value of her belongings. The defendant says the plaintiff up and moved out on him one day. The defendant insists the plaintiff abandoned the items, so he had every right to throw them out.

i'm going to add to what Harvey said. He's right that moving in with someone within a few weeks or even a few months is insane, but on top of that even if you know each other for years, you still don't know what it's like to live with that person. Best way to deal with that is to spend a night or two here and there with them and eventually bump it up to a few nights and then maybe a week or two and see if you can handle them in small doses. It won't be completely foolproof but you will see more of what they are like to live with and it will give you a better idea if you want to make it a long-term thing.

Oh my Goodness... at 14:16 I noticed what looks like a golden-orangey crown above the defendant's head. It's the lighting and the paneling and the courtroom- the whole thing - but the image stopped me and just made me feel such love and compassion for this man, a Veteran, having to deal with his service and all that hardship, in addition to reinventing yourself to try to continue standing tall, proud and courageous and continue being an honorable, contributing member of society - with it's completely different set of rules. I don't know... I just admire this man. I hope to my Higher Power that he never gave up or gave in. I thank him for his service. Big love. ❤

I dealt briefly with a man who was an old friend, but later reconnected. Tried to start a relationship with him, as he was a newly retired vet, Lt Colonel who told me he suffered from PTSD. He was so up and down, and would get highly upset at the slightest things. He was highly insensitive as well He was quite bossy and he ended things abruptly. I'm thankful he left!!

I think both people moved too fast. Somehow, I think the plaintiff moved too fast for him and he became attached too quickly.
I also think she was too selfish to recognize his struggles. She just wanted to be able to say "I got a man" to her friends. But then she works 14 hour days. Who does that?!?!?
The defendant was a very honorable man, though. He didn't lie, get angry, exaggerate, or act a fool. He was straightforward with his answers, no bull.
I commend him for taking the steps he needs to heal. Our service men and women who have served during conflict never come back the same people who left.
We need to as individuals and a country, honor, celebrate and help these wounded warriors. You can tell by this man's demeanor that he is a good person. May God bless him and all of our servicepersons.

If u are struggling with any kinda mental illnesses it's not wise to get into a relationship let alone let a random person u meet online live with u. Come on Sir . I can sympathize with u having ptsd but that's no excuse to throw her stuff away.
