I've been using Nux for 5 years now. The warm analog sound warms the soul. Digital pedals and VST can't compare to it. Completely different sensations.

Gosto mais do CH-1, principalmente por estar procurando um chorus para usar também na onda do John Scofield. Quando se coloca o Rate e Depth no máximo ele equilibra de uma forma mais bonita, menos "detune" ou não tão Vibrato que eu prefiro (e que esse efeito ao estilo do Scofield pede em meus ouvidos). Hoje quase comprei um Neo Clone da Electro Harmonix, mas por esse motivo justamente não comprei (e eu gostei muito do Neo Clone - Sou um grande fã da marca também). Agora estou quase decidido pelo FLAMMA FC14..... Mas ouvindo esse CH-1 , sei não!! rs. Talvez eu vá de Boss mesmo e faça uma boa MOD nele com o JR MOD. Valeu pelo vídeo!

I have that NUX CH-3 Chorus pedal. It really is that good. NUX price point is sets a new standard of affordable excellence. I can recommend their OD-3 (Vintage) Overdrive pedal (green) and distortion High Gain pedal (red) as well. I was blown away by how good their analogue pedals are.

I have the Joyo. It's ok. I have phone videos of gigs & it sounded great with delay thru a Mesa. It was 40 USD. You can get the newer Boss choruses for $50 on Guitar Center used with free shipping to your local store & 45 day return policy. You can sell the Boss. The Joyo fly wires to the mother board are very cheap wires. I had to replace them the first time I took it apart. If you're looking for cheap, there are a ton of Boss stuff out there used. I have the Joyo Ultimate Drive because all OD pedals sound like preamp distortion to me. I've actually learned to like it the few times I needed that kind of sound & too lazy to put a delay on FX loop in the Mesa & use its drive channel.
I traced the NUX CH3 pcb/circuit finally. It's a V3207 V3101 (more commonly known as MN3207 and MN3101) BBD chipset with TL072's running the LFO and Summing portions. With that in mind it's easy to see that the NUX is based off of an Arion Stereo Chorus/KMD Stereo Chorus but with some component changes. I think the NUX is actually a great chorus and I prefer it to a Greenhouse effects Stonedish Chorus, Behringer UC200 Chorus, a Boss CE2 clone I built and an MXR M234. The NUX and the MXR M234 are always fighting each other for a spot on my very large already board. I modded my MXR M234 for true bypass which was not easy since it's the newer SMD version (true bypassing a pedal can be very simple but this is not a beginner true bypass mod. In fact there was no info online so I had to trace the whole board myself without a schematic). Before I modded the MXR M234 it had tone suck/high end loss when the pedal was bypassed which is no secret and a common complaint. I love a good buffered pedal they are great tools for guys like me who have large signal chains/pedal boards. With that said I've come to realize most if not all chorus pedals with buffers suck tone in bypass. So I try to use true bypass choruses like the NUX CH3 (zero tone loss in bypass), EHX Small Clone and now my true bypass modded MXR M234 (which has a vibrato switch mod aswell). If I had to pick between a stick MXR M234 or the NUX CH3 I'd likely pick the NUX CH3. The NUX is brighter and has more of an actual chorus effect whereas the chorus effect with the M234 is more modulated sounding and warmer. The MXR's biggest pro is that I has a high an low cut knob bit they arent active so again they only cut. The main differences between these two choruses and all choruses for that matter that I hear when comparing chorus pedals is the wave shape. The MXR and the NUX have a slightly lopsided sounding wave shape that doesnt lend itself to the typical vibrato but each wave shape is slightly different from one another. Each pedal handles dirt much better than a Boss ce2. The MXR in my opinion and many other famous artists opinion handles dirt the best in part because of the high an low cuts. Anyways point being that the CH3 is certainly a solid circuit that provides a very reliable consistent chorus sound. It can do clean tones and dirt tones well. It's closer to a leslie/rotary type chorus than a CE2 type. If you need a budget chorus that will sound good reliably then I certainly recommend it. Again, after tracing it out I'm fairly certain it's based off an Arion Stereo Chorus(or its clone the KMD Stereo Chorus) and those are excellent chorus pedals that become more an more sought after each year. So if you're still on the fence I suggest listening to the Arion/KMD then listen to the Boss Ce2. If you prefer the arion go with the NUX. If you prefer the Voss Ce2 then go with a Behringer ultra chorus (tone suck in bypass but sound great other than that)Mosky CE-nano or any other one of the various budget ce2 clones. Bonus fact. "Build Your Own Clone"'s analog chorus is also the 3202/3101 chipset and its circuit resembles the arion and the NUX.

Na ultima passada vc inverteu os knobs no NUX em relação aos outros. Mas pra mim o NUX acaba tendo as combinações mais bonitas, muito embora em questão de sinal acho que o BOSS fica na frente.

hmmm wierd shootout. I fount the way you set all the pedals differently quite frustrating. For instance you set the boss on full depth and half rate but didnt do that on the Nux, but you did full rate and half depth. I just would have liked to see more similar settings on those two!

So you linked 2 true bypass choruses with a Boss pedal which is not true bypass so it will affect the others tone even when it is off. An A-B switch would be better for these kind of tests.
MPOEROT The earlier analog version of the CH-1 (blue or pink label) sound more like older boss classic chorus pedals like the ce-2 etc than the post 2001 grey label digital ch-1.
MPOEROT the pre 2001 version of the ch-1 is entirely analog.It will have a pink or blue label on its underside. Post 2001 ch-1s are digital and will have a grey label underneath, The analog one sounds better.
That Nux sounds awfully good. Let’s be honest, chorus is a simple delay effect. The Joyo and Nux likely have the same BBD, sound a tad different due to differences in design, but the Nux adds the blend knob, which I like for faster or deeper chorus sounds.
which one you buy? Joyo is similar to boss CE-2. if you pick that, it's a great steal. I have tried ch-1 on live stage. The tone was too thin, I had to tweak knobs twice on my pedal chains and the amp to match the gain. It sucks the signal in a bad way. The only plus would be the dual output. just sharing my experience xD
MXR Analog Chorus. I almost bought a BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble but the MXR knob layout is better for tweaking on-the-fly. They're both buffered bypass and both has a 2 band EQ. The CH-1 is good too, but the additional EQ knob on the MXR let's me get the exact sound I want

Nope. I just got the nux. It sounds way better in person. It blends very well with distortion even on high gain settings. And yeah, boss ch1 is super chorus
For me the Boss always sounds a bit too 'compressed' - it's nice but a little synthetic, and of course being one of the most popular chorus pedals it's sound is so over used. The Nux sounded better but I know about their build quality, which leaves a lot to be desired - they die very quickly as a rule. I preferred the Joyo overall, but it's lack of a blend/effect level is quite limiting. It has a more brittle sound, but that's what I like. Well worth the money though. HOWEVER - if you want heaven then what you want is a Neunaber Chroma - without doubt the best chorus pedal ever made, but the price is high. I struggled with the price (about £250 gbp) since there are so many cheap and pretty decent pedals out there these days, but honestly it was worth it ! Nothing comes even close - it's like your ears are being massaged by god. I appreciate that not everyone can afford it or justify it, but you owe it to yourseld to at least check out some of the youtube demo's of the Chroma and the other Neunaber pedals - I will be buying a couple more when I can afford it, and I'm tight as a duck's arse lol.

Boss is more calming. But the nux sounds good too.
Joyo pairs well with Tube Screamer, OCD, and Jetter Marshall/Dumble style overdrives.

I like simple sets, Joyo for me, but if you like more psy and deep sounds, I believe the Nux, Boss is overated.

That Nux sounds awfully good. Let’s be honest, chorus is a simple delay effect. The Joyo and Nux likely have the same BBD, sound a tad different due to differences in design, but the Nux adds the blend knob, which I like for faster or deeper chorus sounds.

Joyo is similar to boss CE-2. if you pick that, it's a great steal.
I have tried ch-1 on live stage. The tone was too thin, I had to tweak knobs twice on my pedal chains and the amp to match the gain. It sucks the signal in a bad way. The only plus would be the dual output.

MXR Analog Chorus. I almost bought a BOSS CE-5 Chorus Ensemble but the MXR knob layout is better for tweaking on-the-fly. They're both buffered bypass and both has a 2 band EQ. The CH-1 is good too, but the additional EQ knob on the MXR let's me get the exact sound I want

Dos três pedais, o chefão perdeu para mim , fechando os olhos e ouvindo o som, o nux tem mais opções e não é tão difícil de obter um resultado de forma versátil, o boss, meio confuso ao tentar obter , o som não me agrada e o joyo, é bom, mais em relação ao nux, acho que não entrega a mesma coisa, porém é muito bom de ouvir também, ficaria no rim com o nux

Nope. I just got the nux. It sounds way better in person. It blends very well with distortion even on high gain settings. And yeah, boss ch1 is super chorus
For me the Boss always sounds a bit too 'compressed' - it's nice but a little synthetic, and of course being one of the most popular chorus pedals it's sound is so over used. The Nux sounded better but I know about their build quality, which leaves a lot to be desired - they die very quickly as a rule. I preferred the Joyo overall, but it's lack of a blend/effect level is quite limiting. It has a more brittle sound, but that's what I like. Well worth the money though. HOWEVER - if you want heaven then what you want is a Neunaber Chroma - without doubt the best chorus pedal ever made, but the price is high. I struggled with the price (about £250 gbp) since there are so many cheap and pretty decent pedals out there these days, but honestly it was worth it ! Nothing comes even close - it's like your ears are being massaged by god. I appreciate that not everyone can afford it or justify it, but you owe it to yourseld to at least check out some of the youtube demo's of the Chroma and the other Neunaber pedals - I will be buying a couple more when I can afford it, and I'm tight as a duck's arse lol.

O boss é o mais natural, eu diria o melhor, apenas adiciona efeito ao timbre, enquanto os outros alteram e tem som um tanto plástico
