Hi @Zdenka Darula, firstly I would like to thanks for the beautiful videos and reviews. Could you please make a video for Moza Mini P with Camera still pictures features? There are many reviews on the RUclips but all are talking about videos functionalities. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
I can see how this would be of great use to semi-pro and advanced mobile movie makers, but have to confess the complexity kinda blew my mind a bit! Especially when you are new to using a gimbal as well! ...Halfway through I had to hit pause as I thought my brain was going to explode! :D Seriously, over time I guess I will eventually grasp some of this. Thanks for a great video.
Thank you very much Zdenka. Support for Filmic Pro and any other major software is the most important criteria for me, now that all gimbals are so good. Being able to continue to use the same software (user interface) is very important, when changing or upgrading to new gimbal and other new hardware (eg. new cameras, Android, compact camera etc). It is too painful to re-learn a new software from a new gimbal maker each time. It is also painful to re-learn or switch software or gimbal or a mobile phone, when one upgrades to a new phone. So, I urge everyone to buy the most compatible gimbal from now on. Hopefully, this will make gimbal makers think and make all their functions working on other than their own proprietary software and apps. Just like in PCs and laptops, software like (Windows, Android, Office...) is the important thing, and hardware (like Intel, AMD, NVidia...0 is just what they software controls. Don't let hardware makers lock you in to their brand. Let there be freedom of choice and compatibility, so that products can compete fairly, innovate and become more affordable. Laptops would cost $10,000 or more each if not for commonPC standards and system interoperability, hardware/software support and hence mass produced components. Unfortunately standards are still lacking between the phones/gimbals/software..
Thank you very much for sharing your thoughts…, unfortunately most of the people still decide to buy certain gimbals because of their brand name rather than practical decision
Like each and every commenter has said, great video and very informative. I have a question, though. Do features like Dynamic zoom and Active track work in the Flimic Pro app?
Great video-jam packed with information! I’m brand new to exploring my iPhone SE 2’s camera capabilities. Thinking about getting a DJI OM 3 to get started, to save money and maybe have a simpler tool to learn on. Or would you recommend starting on an OM 4? My previous photography experience was 35mm.
Great FilmicPro tutorial with DJI Osmo! How do you pull focus on two different subjects? Most RUclips videos are too broad on this topic. I haven’t found a single video that demonstrates this technique. The focus wheel allows for rack focus. I want to pinpoint two subjects and switch between them at a certain speed to redirect attention. Thank you! 🙏
Zdenka, are you aware the Hohem isteady X works too... I run the Hohem Pro app BT connect, THEN Filmic Pro. Most buttons and options work. Not perfect, but.... ! Enjoy.
I’ve attempted to link my new DJI OM 5 with the Filmic Pro software and Bluetooth connected on my IPhone 13 pro however no connection to allow the zoom button to operate, maybe they have withdrawn this facility if so it’s a pity? I followed your online instructions as far as I’m aware however maybe it’s operator error? Finally really enjoy your online content you are a sponsors dream professional in all that you do and attractive what more can the ask?
Om5 is not compatible with Filmic pro…. Only 4 and 3…… I don’t think they plan on this gimbal to work with Filmic pro as it is built primarily for social media…. Thank you for your support
Thanks for the insightful video, I was really waiting for this update on filmic pro. I have asked you for the same but you were not sure at that time, but the update has rolled out. Now you have shared the knowledge.
I find the biggest problem with DJI Mimo app is the very quiet audio. The firmware was updated when I restarted it just now and its the same. I have to put audio processing on AND increase the volume before its usable. That’s with OM3. Have you found any similar problems with the internal mike. My camera is a Google Pixel 4, buts its been reported in the forums with Samsung phones too.
I'm sorry for the silly question, I'm still a newbie, so this was a lot of information input for me: Is filming in 60fps possible with an Android (f.e. Samsung 20+) through the Filmic Pro App?
Hello Zdenka, thank you very much for yopur videos, I have a doubt, do you think it is necesarry a gumball for my phone with a follow mode to film interior solo educational videos for movements and training, I think that could solve movement problems and if the camara will be able to follow me will make my post production easier? if is the case wich gumbal you recomend me that has that option and for now I have a samsung s9 maybe will update soon (you can include your phone recomandation for video recording interior), thank you very much!
Thank you for another informative video about gimbals. Just one question: is the limitation about having to use the manufacturer’s app to change modes when using Filmic Pro unique to DJI gimbals? For example, is it possible to use a button on the device on the Zhiyun Smooth 4 to switch modes or does it have a similar requirement to use the Zhiyun app?
You are very welcome. Some gimbals are made where you can switch to most directly with pressing the button on the gimbal such as Moza and Zhiyun . However not all the gimbals offer that
Hi Zdenka, My first visit to your site and a nice review. What impressed me was that you answer every question sent to you. Do you know how the MAVIS video App and the Gimbal would co-operate? Many thanks

Nice video!! Greetings from Berlin
Thank you very much
Another great tuto video .... Great work
Thank you very much
Great video-jam packed with information! I’m brand new to exploring my iPhone SE 2’s camera capabilities. Thinking about getting a DJI OM 3 to get started, to save money and maybe have a simpler tool to learn on. Or would you recommend starting on an OM 4? My previous photography experience was 35mm.
Thank you very much for sharing
Does the filmic pro connect with the moza mini s?
No it doesn’t
Good explanation. But every samsung s serie past 9 can enter pro movie mode in the phones basic camera, which can do all basic camera setting aswel!
Yes that is true…. Cheers
What about object tracking, is that still only possible in the Mimo app?
That’s correct it’s only possible in DJI Mimo
How does this compare to the osmo pocket for example or any other micro camera on a gimbal? or like an RXvi on a small gimbal on the other end.
I don’t have Osmo pocket…. But this will give you more options and better quality as you are using an actual phone
I feel like my DSLR is so easy now.
Thanks for sharing 🥂
Good to hear
Great FilmicPro tutorial with DJI Osmo! How do you pull focus on two different subjects? Most RUclips videos are too broad on this topic. I haven’t found a single video that demonstrates this technique.
The focus wheel allows for rack focus. I want to pinpoint two subjects and switch between them at a certain speed to redirect attention. Thank you! 🙏
It is hard to explain here…. It is the best if you look it up… I’ll be making another tutorial soon
Zdenka good morning
Have you any idea about the compatibility of smooth 3 with filmic pro?
Thanks in advance
You’re very welcome as I was saying in a video when I was reviewing it no it’s not comfortable
Enjoyed that, clear and concise, very helpful
Thank you very much for your support
Are you able to use active track while in Filmic Pro? I haven't been able to figure out the right settings for this. Thanks!
No unfortunately that doesn’t work and filmic pro
@@ZdenkaDarula Thank you for replying back to this, and thank you to CTRL+F for finding the comment!
No active track in Filmic?
No DJI mimo only
@@ZdenkaDarula Would you happen to know if they are planing on it at all? Thanks.
Zdenka, are you aware the Hohem isteady X works too... I run the Hohem Pro app BT connect, THEN Filmic Pro. Most buttons and options work. Not perfect, but.... ! Enjoy.
Thank you for letting me know
Like always good movie and honest review. Could you tell what is the benefit of using filters? Are they eliminating "flares" on iPhone lens?
Here ruclips.net/video/YcKYa_E5LV0/видео.html
So I can set the active track and then go back to filmic and it will track. Thank you so much! Exactly what I wanted to know.
Nope, that doesn't work mate.
She mentioned it a month ago in another comment, and I just confirmed 10 minutes ago. It's a shame...
Totally true
@@Deatarus51 ok. Bummer. Thanks for trying. And thanks for the clarification.
Thanks, Zdenka. This was very useful.
Thanks for the insightful video, I was really waiting for this update on filmic pro. I have asked you for the same but you were not sure at that time, but the update has rolled out. Now you have shared the knowledge.
You are very welcome
I find the biggest problem with DJI Mimo app is the very quiet audio. The firmware was updated when I restarted it just now and its the same. I have to put audio processing on AND increase the volume before its usable. That’s with OM3. Have you found any similar problems with the internal mike. My camera is a Google Pixel 4, buts its been reported in the forums with Samsung phones too.
It is the same regardless of the app I use. For good audio you always need external microphone
I'm sorry for the silly question, I'm still a newbie, so this was a lot of information input for me: Is filming in 60fps possible with an Android (f.e. Samsung 20+) through the Filmic Pro App?
Yes it is
Finally you made this comparison
Would you know if the osmo mobile se works with filmic
Sorry, I’m not sure
@@ZdenkaDarula for anyone interested filmicpro doesnt support the se mobile yet only osmo 1 to 5
Hello Zdenka, thank you very much for yopur videos, I have a doubt, do you think it is necesarry a gumball for my phone with a follow mode to film interior solo educational videos for movements and training, I think that could solve movement problems and if the camara will be able to follow me will make my post production easier? if is the case wich gumbal you recomend me that has that option and for now I have a samsung s9 maybe will update soon (you can include your phone recomandation for video recording interior), thank you very much!
Actually any gimbal should do. They all have to follow feature...
However not all the gimbals offer that
can i have motion timelapse with android phone in this app with dji mobile 4?
Yes you can but I suggest watching today’s video coming up at 10 AM
@@ZdenkaDarula of course i will
Hi Zdenka, My first visit to your site and a nice review. What impressed me was that you answer every question sent to you. Do you know how the MAVIS video App and the Gimbal would co-operate? Many thanks
Thank you very much for your kind words and support. I am unfortunately not familiar with Mavis so I don’t know
OK. Thank you.
Great review and tutorial. Thanks! Have you done any comparison vs Zhiyun M2?
You’re very welcome. Unfortunately I don’t have access to that
Thank you for this explanation ~ complexed hearing for the first time; I’ll practice
You are very welcome. Wishing you all the best
Can I use it for GoPro hero 4?
I’m not sure about this is for smart phone
Ooh I'm sorry I mean GoPro hero 9
Thank you so much, ur video is very helpful
Witch gimbal is best for GoPro hero 9?
Excellent Video! Thank you!
