youre wrong in several ways
1. Ty is a songwriter so he is composing alongside the producers and instrumentalists (if any) - also when you create vocals you create melody which is a part of the composition of the song
2. the idea that someone not talented cant make good art (which music is an art) is completely wrong.
firstly, what is good art/music is completely subjective based on ones preferences and life experiences. for example, i think whatever the fuck "scene" is is complete, overproduced, stinky, smelly, super diarrhea, dogshit. Nonetheless, it is art. I am not the judge of what is good art or not for all of humanity.
this doesn't mean you cant criticize it, but it does mean that you cant determine if it is truly good or not just because it doesn't speak to you.
also, you speak as if people born without much natural talent cant work super hard and end up creating good music. you didnt account for untalented people making good music just from pure hard work.
