Thank you, I am wondering where I can get starts? I participate in the Kohala Food Hub. Also looking for a clean source for wood chips..(north Kohala) ? Mahalo, Ginger B.
it should be the opposite. You need to let the fleshy part dry first before it germinate. I use to dip it on ash to protect it against mold for a few days before planting it
Love adding compost and training it to grow up the papaya-brilliant!
Totally made my aloha Friday morning. Nice editing :D

When can I attempt to plant my fresh Ube to regrow for more please? Plan to use larger size pot with organic fertilizer. Completely new to this. TIA 🥰
Whenever you want just make sure it's large enough. The bigger the piece the higher your chances.
Any chance you have any slips to sell? I'd love to purchase (on Oahu).
My father used to plant it in a sandy loam soil
Interesting
Thank you, good stuff.
Hello. By any chance, do you sell ube for planting?
I want to grow some of that.
Is ube a yam?
I put my yam in water but it keeps growing white mold

@@H00618 i p,aced the whole yam in water, no fleshy part to heal.
@@privatename3447 you need to keep it dry though before the sprouts appear. Ground moisture a key but not to the point you can soak it instead.
