Fruit is not sugar-free, though. If you’re trying to totally avoid sugar, fruit is not a safe solution. The label should say “no added sugar” since fructose IS still sugar. Fruit sugars are better than processed sugars only because fruit also has vitamins and nutrients. I’m absolutely happy to see this recipe that only uses fruit to sweeten the zobo, but nobody should think that this is a diabetic-friendly beverage!

I make zobo for sale and I can proudly say that I don't add any additives in my products. I use only fresh fruits and dates to sweeten.

    Unrelated to Zobo.....
So I'm here in a West African country outside Nigeria, minding my business.....watching TV. I see a show about weddings and a young couple that won their all expenses honeymoon to Dubai. 😊
I look closely and it's Yemisi and Yomi. 🎉❤💃🏽
This thing about media being for life is REAL and true oh.
Here they are showing their show, meanwhile it was a few years ago. Tito sef is about to bring girlfriend home and they are still showing it like it just happened
