I think she was the first woman Seth actually respected and he was the first human Santanico was secretly smitten with. He stood up to culebras (concluding her) without fear and that fascinated Santanico. It's too bad neither of them got to realize what was between them similar to Richie and Kate otherwise they're practically soul mates.

Even if she loved Richie (I doubt that), he sold her to her rapist thinking it would be right for her; in fact didn't gave a damn about her reasons to hate Malvado, he didn't understand her at all, and when they met again in s03e02 it is seemed that Kisa don't care about him anymore, she lost her feelings for him finally after his deal with Malvado (but it slowly disappeared before, when he tried to change her mind about Malvado's business). On the other hand, Seth didn't care about Kisa in s1 and most of s2, it changed in few last episodes of that season - he gave up fortune to save her, it's more than "made peace". At the end of s3, he didn't went off with Kate - he went off with HIS BROTHER and Kate, althought he treats Kate like his little sister/daughter. But then, he thought about Kisa as his friend, he didn't went off with her bc 1) Richie 2) she became culebra's queen.
Umm Seth abandoned Kate 3 months after they "went off together" and didn't give her a second though until her death. We got actual confirmation that Richie had been thinking about Kate the whole time they were apart (like she was) when he told Malvado "I've been waiting a lot longer" just before he rescued her from him. And that's probably why Richies relationship with Santanico soured so fast. She also had no respect for him or his relationship with Seth unlike Kate. By the time S3 rolled around Santanico and Richie were totally done with each other. Yet when Santanico showed up at the end of S3 she admitted Seth was on her mind and that she returned because of him. I'm not even going to get into the S3 finale because I thought the whole was trash. No one was in character and the plot was a mess and it was rushed due to the show not getting another season to wrap the story up properly. But even so I can guarantee you Seth was never hot for Kate and vice versa. Kate loved her brother more than anything but she was/is attracted to Richie it's canon they kissed twice in S1 not long after they'd first met. He saw into her soul just as Santanico got to see into Seth's. I'd also like to add that while Richie was trying to save Kate in S3 he took care of Scott because he knew she valued family and love. Unlike Seth who shot Scott, brutalized her and planned her assassination over and over. Hey I'm not one to criticize anyone for shipping what they want but don't pretend SK was this glorious fantasy when it wasn't.
This was amazing! Let me be honest at first I didn't ship these two because I didn't like Santanico at all. But over the years I've warmed up to the character and can't deny the chemistry between her and Seth. I ship them so hard now. So disappointed the writers chickened out on making Sethanico and Kichie endgame after all their build up just to appease fan service to a small loud fan base. But it doesn't matter cause I'll always ship them 😍😍
