For Middle East airlines you don’t need trainings but for international European airlines you need previous training and a license even if they’ll still train you themselves .

Great video. I'm also in aviation and ill agree that there is none more cutthroat than our industry. I have friends living in Doha cabin crew, and pilots. My one purser friend told me he got declined 3 times before he got accepted back in 2012. The common theme here is how people always get rejected. People who get in first time are as rare as a unicorn. I did some research and it turns out that its statistically harder to be accepted into Qatar as a cabin crew or any middle east carrier than it is being accepted into Harvard. This also got me thinking that its about how badly you want it. Leave the biggest room for disappointment and be persistent, because Qatar is not SAA. That is the best airline in the world and you will need to fight for the spot. Congratulations for getting in:). I hope you've navigated through the curfews and jetlag😁

When you get to the training (in Doha) do they give hair suggestions for African hair?
What kind of hair style did you have For the assessment day?
There’s little information on the internet of hairstyle for African women in these airlines.

I was invited for my first open day this past week in Cape Town. Guys, you have to totally tie your hair back, no hair out. and possibly make a neat bun at back. Also, make sure you have as minimal visible scars as possible. NO TATTOOS allowed at Qatar. With Emirates i think as long as your tattoo is not visible for the public u should be ok

This has been very helpful thanks sis. I moved to New Zealand and I don't think they have openings here. I've seen openings online in neighboring countries like Australia and Fiji I wanna find out if I'm allowed to apply in these countries and if I get called I just fly to that country? Or you can only apply in the country you live in?

Thank you so much and no, The company will pays for everything. After you pass open day and assessment day the next step would be on loading your pics so they can apply for a work visa for you and then you have to do your Medicals which you have to pay for after that that’s when QR will send you your ticket that they pay for then when you land that side they give you money to sustain you for the month until you get your first salary. Transport to training and to work is provided for you aswell as accommodation. 🙏🏽
I had submit application for cabin crew of Qatar airways on 25 December 2021 and today is 17 January 2022 and I may be didn't get invitation mail yet maybe

@Seithati Letsipa Alright noted, thanks for the response 🙏🏾🙏🏾i'ma black male with slightly long hair (forehead length) . I have seen the Cabin Crew rule book and no where is there help on long black hair except styling it naturally to move it away from face. From your experience, i know some airlines now have male cabin crew with long hair. Is this an issue with Qatar if i tie/style it naturally away from face?
@@nkosilathimpofu3835 I was with Qatar from 2014 till 2017 February so maybe the rules could’ve changed but they were very strict with males having short hair when I was with them.

Hey, thanks for watching ♥️ since I went to EPT aviation training, I followed them on Facebook after the training. And every time airlines are hiring In SA they would put it up on their social media. So I found out through their page. ♥️

esther ike Hey Esther, A required reach of between 208 and 214 cm, dependent on airline. In most cases you’re allowed to stand on your tiptoes. Your palm should be flat against the wall, and the tips of your fingers should reach over the line. So if you can reach that then you’ll be fine. But with SA airlines height isn’t a problem so you apply. 💞

Hi if you’re selected to become cabin crew they do everything for you. Accommodation, flights, transport to training/work and back. I’m not familiar with the process of finding your own place so I wouldn’t know where to start. ♥️

When I was there they offered accommodation, you can call them I’m sure they have a list of a few that their students stay at.
