The way it should've went: Madara can't regenerate after Night Guy and only has a few minutes left, Guy can't be healed and during his last seconds he barely manages to pull one last smile with his thumb up, Zetsu does his thing then, Naruto and Sasuke fight Kaguya That way we get peak hard work fighting peak talent but it ends in a draw + his sacrifice truly means something Then we get Naruchrist and Budhaske fighting the goddess of mormons

Naruto and saskue never received there power ups yet, kakashi also never had his power up yet.Madura never had both his eyes also plus kaguya didn’t step into the scene yet. He was fighting the combined power of Madara Uchiha, Hashirama Senju, all 9 tailed beasts and the Sage of the Six Paths at the same time. And despite that, Guy nearly obliterated him. Couldn’t help but shed a tear seeing hard work and determination rival the power of a God. 2) Madara did NOT defeat Guy. He survived Guy. There was nothing he could have done to stop that last attack, and if he didn’t have Hashirama’s powers (including his healing factor) implanted into him, Madara would be stone cold DEAD. Might guys story brought me out of my bullshit phases (like saskue) growing up. Naruto taught me how to get through all the dark times with a positive demeanor in life.

This fight is still a rob for me, the animators don't even put atleast some effort to make the fight longer tho. they just animate literally the chapters panel by panel. If you watched it multiple times, you know what im saying.
To the guy asking "is the subtitle wrong" from what i can understand from japanese it IS wrong, what it most literally translates to is "there is only one thing left to do" or "i can only do one last thing". The manga did translate to "night guy" but imho its just wrong and takes away from the final move to call its name at that moment.
You guys should understand that in order to move freely in 8 Gates, Guy's body is also under a lot of stress. Just imagine that during this fight, Guy's bones were cracking like crackers.
Imagine how the fight would of went with Migth Duy vs the OG sever ninja swordsman, yes we know the outcome sadly…. It seeing it would of been epic if it had have been animated. If only huh?
Them ruining this moment by having Naruto pop up and save Guy (and then take over fighting edo tensei madara) is the single biggest writing fuck up in manga history, hell, in all of fiction. They really crafted the ultimate "silly side character turns out to be the ultimate G" story in the background over hundreds of chapters only to fuck it up for the sake of "Naru-Jesus" All this moment needed to do different to be perfect, was having Guy die while Gaara/lee/Kakashi seal Edo Tensei Madara as he starts to regenerate. It wouldn't even change anything big about the rest of the wars' fights cause Madara would still just come back to life for real so Naruto could still end up with a fight against "true" madara anyway

To the guy asking "is the subtitle wrong" from what i can understand from japanese it IS wrong, what it most literally translates to is "there is only one thing left to do" or "i can only do one last thing". The manga did translate to "night guy" but imho its just wrong and takes away from the final move to call its name at that moment.

Them ruining this moment by having Naruto pop up and save Guy (and then take over fighting edo tensei madara) is the single biggest writing fuck up in manga history, hell, in all of fiction.
They really crafted the ultimate "silly side character turns out to be the ultimate G" story in the background over hundreds of chapters only to fuck it up for the sake of "Naru-Jesus"
All this moment needed to do different to be perfect, was having Guy die while Gaara/lee/Kakashi seal Edo Tensei Madara as he starts to regenerate.
It wouldn't even change anything big about the rest of the wars' fights cause Madara would still just come back to life for real so Naruto could still end up with a fight against "true" madara anyway
