What great Performance Dru Hill
Ugh... I hate to say this because I've always been a MAJOR Dru Hill fan. What I loved most was the amazing harmonies of the GROUP. This new guy Tao is killing my vibe. I had to cut the video short because of him. He's clearly an OVER singer. He needs to bring it down several notches and listen to the original versions of the songs to learn what harmonizing sounds like. I want to hear everybody on stage not just him.

So many of y’all hatin on Tao. Yeah I agree he goes over the top at times but in his defense, y’all seem to be forgetting some things: 1. It’s obvious Sisqo tryin to hide he doesn’t have his high range no more he always makes the audience sing when it comes to those parts or he has Tao sing it cuz he got the range. 2. Since all lead vocals in their back catalog are done 98% by either Sisqo or Jazz ONLY, of course he’s gonna sing his ass off any opportunity he can to shine when he’s given a solo part to sing. 3. He got range so why not show it off if he can? His notes in the harmonies do tend to stand out a little too much at times tho but y’all keep giving him shit. Honestly I think y’all hating on him just cuz he ain’t Woody. Yo I miss Woody too but Woody was a limited singer compared to Tao. Sad to say.

No. Dru Hill has several other members before they hit it big, but Tao wasn't one of them. His first and only years with the group have been from 2008 through now.

In his defense, Sisqo has been taking every opportunity to hide the fact that he can’t hit higher notes anymore so he lets the new guy take care of it and he has the range for it. Besides, he has no solo vocals, so what do you expect? If I were him, I’d take every opportunity to shine too, especially when I have the range to do it.

Sisqo has lost an octave, but it's all good. His voice is still unique. Tao has the range and in his own right a good singer... Woody killed the prince tribute and jazz killed his solo part... Great performance!
