As surreal as Vanessa and her voice have proven to be, I was still left speechless seeing she hit and sustained that huge G#5. Even the best technique singers out there can’t sing such high notes after 2 decades! They’ll either lower the key or rearrange the song to dodge high notes and high phrased passages… this restored much needed faith in vocalists.
This Anthem is ALL about that one note at the end.... I am very proud of Vanessa nailing it!!
