- How to turn off the TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) light on your 2016 Volkswagen Tiguan. Inflate the tires to recommended PSI first and then turn "store the values" (turn off the light) via the dashboard menu.
Tire PSI gauge makes it easy and helpful to measure the PSI of your tires: amzn.to/2oEo0Ma
I appreciate you so much, you don’t even know. I work in the Chrysler express shop doing oil changes and I tell you this was the most complex vehicle I’ve ever worked on. Had to watch 3 of your videos and they were life savers.
Have to admit this car is still really fun to drive though
If you have a vw cc then do the following 1 scroll down to 'tyre pressures' on the settings 2 then click on' store' then 3 scroll further down to' confirm' and click OK Job done ! Cheers Eddie PS step 3 is very important I only discovered it by accident !
Thank a lot was freaking out because I was trying to store the information but it kept telling me that it wouldn’t store, I didn’t know that I had to have the vehicle off to do it so thank you saved me a headache I didn’t want.
Genial! Habe ne halbe Stunde versucht im Internet was zu finden, weil die Beschreibung im Handbuch nicht funktioniert/ hinhaut wie auch immer.. Dein Video gefunden und Bähhm in nichtmal ner Minute erledigt! Danke dir :)
Thanks man! That was super helpful!
Thank you! I just bought a used Tiguan and don’t know if the light was on since I got it 5 days ago or just came on. I went to America’s tires and all psi was above 40. They reset all and the light was still on which scared me but I have reset now thanks to you!
Super easy!!! Thank you!!!
I went to two tire shops and asked them how do I reset my tire pressure gage and they both told me to fill it with the recommended tire pressure and it will go off by itself when you start driving it. Lol. I'm going to go back and teach them how to do it. I'm still laughing lol
I'm laughing you didn't figure it out yourself the first time
It's very nice formations 👌
What if it says that the tire pressure data cannot be stored?
My settings menu does not have that option, is there another way to reset TPMS light? thanks.
Great help! Thanks!
Thank you so much for it; help me a lot
sir i have different model than yours there's no tyre pressure on the settings, until now don't reset yet that indicator...
Please Help!!! My friend has 2016 Tiguan TSI. Car came with rubber valves. We bought a set of TMPS, but could not program these to the computer. We brought the car to the tires plus, and manager explained to us that they do not use tpms wheel sensors anymore. instead the car determines the pressure indirect way. I have Autel tool, he has Bridgestone tool, and Bridgestone does not have an option for 2016 Tig. And he did as you did. Yet, Rockauto, ebay, Amazon, they sell tpms wheel sensors. That are completely useless for this car. ???
Many thanks for your help 🙂.
helpful; thank you
Thank you
i need to reset but my screen doesnt have tire pressure only snow tires 2011 Tiguan
But im looking for how to see the psi number on the dash like most other cars. To tell you how much is in each tire
Unfortunately on these cars, they only have a vague light that comes on. It doesn't have the details like most other modern cars with the PSI.
Thank you very much
I don't have a arrow pad on my steering wheel. How do I reset?
