    I LOVE your channel and really admire you as a person! Thank you for all this incredible content, it feels like I have a pageant coach! Do you think you could upload a video asking teen interview questions and giving sample answers? That would be so helpful!

      Hi Mikaela! Thank you so much for your kind words! I would definitely have no issue sharing some teen questions but sample answers are a little tougher for me to answer in teen mode because of how long it’s been since I was a teen (and I worry my answers would sound too mature!)
      But here are some sample questions and areas that I think could be helpful for you:
      1) What do you want to study in college?
      2) What do you love most about your hometown?
      3) Tell me about your family.
      4) What current event affects your generation the most?
      5) Is social media helpful or harmful?
      6) What is something not on your resume that you’d like to share with us?
      7) If you were a Disney Princess which one would you be?
      The common thread across all these questions is that they trend towards the simpler side but they leave a lot of open ended room for a teen to interpret and go in multiple directions. When I judge teens, I look not so much for the content of the answer but more so the feeling of how comfortable she is talking about herself. I would never evaluate someone in high school with the same criteria as someone in college or beyond because the life experiences are just so different. Therefore I’d encourage you to get practice answering questions on the fly and letting your natural personality shine through.
      For teens especially, it’s not so much a competition about who can answer the question best as it is about who can drop her guard and talk to judges/audiences like they’re her friend. Get the practice in and you’ll get there!

    OK, I'll admit it, I watched the first one just because it showed up in my feed, then this one. It was Great! Even though I tend to be more interested in tools and machine shops and computers and history, I believe this will be the first channel of this type I will sub to and watch more. Your presentation is excellent, content was great, not repetitive and just enjoyable. Sub'd.

      This is the most thoughtful and delightful comment ever, Jaye. The internet is really amazing isn’t it? I also like the areas you mentioned (especially history.)

    thank u so much
    But when I talk to someone I feel hesitation and my English spoken also not very well can you please tell me how to increase it and how to face any situation in beauty pageants be Confidently .

    • @CrystalClues
      @CrystalClues  4 года назад +2

      Hi Isha - I hate to say it because this piece of advice sounds overused and exhausted but it’s true: practice is everything. When you practice, you teach yourself to go through the motions and your muscle memory and your comfort level with whatever you’re doing, increases significantly. Do you have any friends that you can speak English with? I wonder if there are any community groups or activities conducted in English that you might be able to spend time in or participate in just to increase your hours communicating in English. (here in the states, one example would be going to Toastmasters or even church groups, which are usually very welcome, just to talk to people 😉.)

    • @CrystalClues
      @CrystalClues  4 года назад +2

      All of this will help you face any situation in pageants because you will grow as a communicator and over time with life experience you will become more confident too! I know on a micro level, it can feel like it’s taking forever to see improvements in confidence. But keep at it.
